  • Hard News: The Wall and the Paper, in reply to Stephen Judd,

    they’re afraid of upsetting him and his radio audience if they don’t.

    This is the problem, isn’t it? Laws has a constituency.

    So did Paul Henry. And Slime is still slime. Still, (out on a limb here I imagine) he should have the freedom to write his vomit for a paper who is prepared to employ him. Just that letters to the Editor should follow every crap piece complaining as I think RB just showed David Kemeys.He got the message loud and clear.Good show.

    prearranged signal (3 rifle shots at 2-second spacing) for tsunami warning;

    That sounds so organised Islander, Brilliant idea for small communities. Is it common do you think? Others should adapt this or am I behind the eight ball?

  • Field Theory: Hospital Pass,

    South Island can watch the rest on TV.

    Well it better be all games on State TV for all of the South Island, while we still have State TV.
    I don't even like the game but for those that do, it should be in Dunedin. or a free ferry up to Wellywood. for all those "were gonna be" CHCH games. Jeez Auckland is not the only City because CHCH had an earthquake. Why are we making this prohibitively more expensive than it already is?

  • Hard News: The Wall and the Paper, in reply to Richard Matthews,

    The first one on the article you linked to is on the corner of Morningside Drive and New North Rd behind the dairy on the carpark wall. It is massive. Cant miss it, and you wouldn't want to, it's fantastic. Those others look like platforms to train stations.Guess you need to take a ride. :) Glad to see Jackie Clark had her Dad recognised in New Lynn.
    The point is though, it is in the eye of the beholder and one man cannot decide what I want to see (Mr Sheilds!) This bland (and often mismatched, not even similar toned,) blanket wall covering will sooner than you think, turn our world battleship grey. UGH!

    And I see... "All together now" ;) Heather is faster than me writing in the dark

  • Hard News: The Wall and the Paper, in reply to Heather Gaye,

    It's a great wall. I'm guessing you may be in that leaky looking building :) I imagine that wall would be great for many photographic essays including weddings that you mention.Recently watched "Exit thru the Gift Shop" and I was impressed at all the interpretations on that. Street Art, gold!
