Oh, lovely. Always the designated human shield,
I'll get your back :)
FWIW IMO
NZ Police can and have been known to beat up people. Henderson is getting a collection of them.Investigations pending. Old x cop friend has admitted to me that it happens.
NSW Police from when I lived there had fun beating up people. Committed their fair share of crime and were known to entrap citizens of blemished reputation to commit further crimes for personal reward. Not sure what they are like now.I know this, I was there.

Something needs to be done today.
At Waltham Park, Carol McCance was among residents critical of the 10-minute inspections Earthquake Commission officials were making of houses.

Absolutely agree with you Sacha about Peter Hyde, at the same time I would hope that you can understand if some feel the need to air their frustration, that it too could be of benefit to some. Collective consciousness can be a wonderful thing but also individual expression should feel equally allowed surely? Often, actual experience can be reasons behind individuals comments and we can only learn from that eh? Kia kaha my friend

Does anyone have any ideas as to who the most useful targets for any sort of correspondence would be?
I'd check your paper and target journos who you like reading. Claire Trevett, Derek Cheung? Matt McCarten,John Armstrong would be on my list. Then seeing as I don't get responses from National (I have tried, still waiting) I'd push Labour and Greens and Maori.
I always have luck with Labour and Greens.
Best of luck to you. -

Thank you Christopher. That was exactly my view on the name and shame register. I tend to support the tenet innocent until proven guilty, but others feel differently of which.....;)
