  • Cracker: It's a Wonderful Thing,

I am guessing but I think the jazzercise that was aired on the programme was Les Mills. All too familiar, and it was the place that sort of kick started the concept in NZ. I had a suitcase of 45's given to me from them back in the day and there were some gems amongst them. Passed on for mixing later on.

  • Cracker: It's a Wonderful Thing, in reply to Damian Christie,

And there you were sitting on the sun loungers I always wanted, in my old stomping ground.
    Thoroughly enjoyed the Hindsight Damian.

  • Hard News: The First Draft,

When was the last time a real scientist got that much prime time to present his REAL work?

I enjoyed Sir Robert Winston whom I thought did rather well on the Telly and Sir Peter Gluckman got a bit of airtime before JK stole him away. I think forensics have become sexy because of Crimetime TV, but yeah, gotta say there are certain "go to" guys on our TV that do not float ma boat.

I really (no, really) hope I'm not in the Jazzercise footage :)

So that’s Hindsight. My little baby.

Yay! have been looking for it since the little birdy I know, passed it on to me that you were about to launch and I am so glad you have brought this to light as I am having a night in and will enjoy to be sure! Good stuff Damian :)

  • Hard News: The First Draft,

(It’s worth noting that a few weeks back Campbell Live did a story on free food stores appearing and then reported most of their feedback complained the starving people looked overweight and were smoking. I felt sorry for a show trying to challenge misconceptions only to have them reinforced by their viewers.)

The next night JC did mention that they decided to check the complaints against the footage they aired and pointed out that they only saw 2 smokers in all the footage, which I appreciated also.

Bit late, but on the sign language thing, can we have it back in Parliament too please? Why they ever stopped that , beyond sense and I want the translation back for Te Reo while they should be at it.

  • Hard News: What Now?, in reply to Ross Mason,

Yes, I am always hoping for a better society that takes care of each other and unfortunately I just bat for the underdog in hope of understanding. I actually felt really sad to see 2 young people taking those generators and even more saddened to see a 16 year old who had been so bitter. Says to me we are failing in certain areas as a society. Anyhow as you were (it's only me, but my name has an "F" no "PH" for future reference :) but I sincerely do hope we don't get an increase in thieving.

Have a real discussion and see if there is any room for agreement. (Reminds me of the Big Bang Theory episode when Leonard decides he can’t have a girlfriend who believes in astrology)

It is surprising to me how many medical people I have met, turn out to be deeply religious. Also a salvation army donation collector and churchee I once knew was also the science teacher at Mt Albert College. Both seem at odds with themselves to me.Jus'sayin'
