Being able to circumvent queues and crowded foyers by bellowing out "let me through, I'm a doctor!" would one of the unacknowledged benefits of having a PHD
Unless the queue is filled with other medical professionals, especially nurses, orderlies etc. They'll tell you where to shove it :)

Without knowing what he's been doing in the interim and how different he is from the person that assaulted and abused his partner, I think we should keep in mind that allowing people to return to be productive members of society is a major factor in reducing recidivism.
Given that reporting on sports is his career, it's not surprising that he's returned to it.

The reports I saw yesterday were embarassing. "STV cost me this election."
Which is nonsense. There's no way you can take the first choices of an STV election (or the results of an STV election before special votes are counted) and say that they equate to a FPP election. People will vote differently under STV, people that have no chance of getting elected will get a lot more first choices because people know that their votes are still going to count.
Fail at winning elections, fail at being gracious afterwards, fail at attacking the voting system for being the cause. Way to go out on a low note.

I think the electoral system actually works with 9 decimal places, they've probably chosen to just round to two for presentation.
