  • giovanni tiso,

I shall be on my best behaviour, unfortunately. Well, at least initially.

    I wasn't implying you'd be anything but.

  • Xeno,

The two cultures ā€“ BDSM and LGBT ā€“ cross over and become sub-cultures of each other...

... male subs and female Dommes are both referred to as 'unicorns' ...

    Aha!

    The rainbow connection.

  • Ian Dalziel,

Vanilla and the sheath pod people...
Enjoy it while you can, the missionary position is under threat - a lethal disease is wiping out vanilla plantations in Madagascar
Interestingly the root of the word vanilla is from the Latin vagina - sheath/scabbard - so it's right on the muni! - it's all Greek to me, (right Stewart?) the language, that is, not the slang term which is,
I guess, an inversion, to be contrary...

    the new Sexicon...
if you are not Kinky - you could just be sextraordinary, rather than merely normal, or even a bonk vivant...
the politics of modern sex allow one to be a Sensualist Member as either a Libertine or on the Sybarite where you can proudly proclaim I Amatory!

Figs and Cheese Plant for tea...
I'll be wary of creeping or weeping figs with directional mikes, especially ficus erecta, nervosa and ilicina and any accompanying reeling Fruit Salad plants : - )
i'm sure it'll all be food for thought and I'll get my just deserts if I'm tart with Hart, when down with Brown in town...

  • Emma Hart,

    The rainbow connection.

Indeed - where rainbows come from.

Surely what constitutes ones best behaviour is a matter of perspective.

I used to describe my behaviour as 'exemplary', which sounds like a good thing initially.

Wrong discriminated group. As S. Colbert could tell you, rainbows are just god's way of frowning at gay people.

    "That's a fucking clever headline"

Shit yes. Chapter title? I do like vanilla, but always interesting to hear about other flavours.

the prospect of introducing Hart and Dalziel

I would pay to be at that dinner.

You start by telling me Iā€™m wrong, then you try to work out how I got broken. The next step is of course fixing me. This is the same attitude some people display towards homosexuality.

With disability, it often goes broken --> wrong --> fix.

Dear Craig: please don't ever mention Paul Holmes in a thread about kinky sex ever again.

We sooo have to pitch that to NZ On Air. Why should Brown suck up all the glamour

Savage Love was originally going to be called "Hey, Faggot!", back when Dan Savage was in his confrontational ACT-UP days. I believe his editor persuaded him to change it, on the basis that he could still do all the filthy stuff, it'd just be more effective if people read past the byline.

The Team America love scene - they actually put a large amount of vile, vile stuff in there (at least one incidence of coprophilia, which was cut from the final version). The explicit (ho ho) reason for this was - as they admitted after the film had been rated - was to give the film classification peeps something to get so upset about (and insist that they cut) that they missed all the subtler stuff that the filmmakers actually cared about.

  • JackElder,

Once flatted with a fetishist. There are times it's good to be deaf, what with trying to read while some chick tied to a bed is waiting eight hours to climax next door.

Ha - he's moved in just up the road from us, and I see him waiting for the bus sometimes. Fortunately, he's far enough up the road that the screams don't disturb us. Welcome to the suburbs, folks!

I love me some Savage Love, I have learned many many things about what other people are doing in bed from reading him.

A technique they pioneered with the South Park movie -- but on a more serious tip, I'd strongly recommend laying hands on Kirby Dick's This Film Is Not Yet Rated and marvel at what a thoroughly creepy body the MPAA really is. Matt Stone is only one of the interview subjects; and actress Maria Bello is particularly acidic about the irony that the MPAA had issues with a brief scene of her character having rough but consensual sex with her husband in A History of Violence, but when it comes to torture porn slasher pics that are blatantly marketed by major studios to teenagers? Not so much...

If, as the MPAA claims, they only reflect social standards rather than set then, America is a truly disturbed and disturbing country.

  • Rich of Observationz,

Paul Holmes' sex life (even if it does lurch towards new frontiers in autoeroticism) isn't kinky enough for you?

I think it's quite a good thing that a google for "Paul Holmes Slash" returns various stories on Guns and Roses, but nothing of the kind that I was looking for.

Seconded - it's deeply fascinating and deeply worrying at the same time, especially the problems the MPAA seems to have with women actually being seen to enjoy sex...
