Baby come back! Any kind of fool could see...
Seriously, we'll miss you.
Hope the new job goes well for you Keith.
-
That's genius.
That's Jake Pollock.
And Keith - you will be missed. Cheers for posting so well on so much for so long.
-
I read the posts here and found myself humming the "goodbye" song from The Sound of Music.
I'll miss your posts. I always liked seeing you'd written something new; I knew when you did I was about to read something genuinely good.
Good luck with whatever it is you're doing now, Keith. I hope you'll find time to write things and put them on the internet. -
Och! Go well Keith. I really appreciated the poll dancing and onpointing. This election won't be same without you...
-
I can't believe you're selling out like this, Keith. Was it the money? How much? Just tell me. I can take it. Honestly. Snout in the trough and legs in the air kind of riches? With a bit of fame and fortune cookies sprinkled on top?
-
Good luck Keith, I hope you see you pop up somewhere else soon, getting paid well for the good work that you do!
-
I'll miss your stuff here, man. You've done good, in all senses.
I hope that you're moving on to something interesting, challenging and well-remunerated. And that you pop up with public comment again before too long.
If you ever need advice or assistance from a friendly linux geek, you've only to ask; also if you happen to visit London the drinks are on me.

Farewell Keith... have enjoyed your postings...
DPF speculates that it's a job in the PM's office...

1 Commenter says "so it's a temporary posting, then?"
Another "So he'll be blogging at The Standard then?"Both pretty funny really.... even the sewer isnt 100% septic.
-
DPF has outed you, Keith.
-
Heh. Missed out by a minute.
Both pretty funny really.... even the sewer isnt 100% septic.
That struck me too.
-
Thanks for all the advice, Keith. You'll be sorely missed. Do you think your new position as a Snivelling Communistic Toadying Bureaucrat will still allow you to take part in the ASPA Awards?
-
Bugger.

Okay, so I'm now effectively hoping you won't be back here too soon. Bugger indeed.
Russell, do you think you could schedule reruns of the Asian Crime Wave series? I'd offer to supply the popcorn.
-
merc,
Keith, best wishes, more good work.
-
That struck me too
Just wait. :) Though, if true, I can just imagine the first performance review: "Keith exceeds expectations in most performance criteria, but requires sensitivity training to address frequent use of inappropriate and culturally offensive terms like your numbers don't add up and that's just not true. :)
-
Keith your departure is a loss for PA readers, but whatever you do I'm sure you'll continue being extraordinarily good, self-doubt or no. Before you go, do you have any comment on this?
-

Good luck. I've known a few people through the PMs office, it's not without challenges but Heather's not nearly so scarey as she's made out to be (not always anyway).
-
Thanks guys. <sniff> It's very sweet. And while we're on Douglas Adams quotes:
"We apologise for the inconvenience."
-
Good luck with the new job Keith.
Beware of NZ's most powerful ginga!
-
Keith. you've made even a born-innumerate interested in your posts (and that's not including the fascinating o'seas ones of course)...remember to keep a towel handy at all times...
-
... though for PR work, shouldn't that be a trowel?
-
merc,
Why Keith makes a difference, so Keith, self doubt less,

Must have made an impact, cos Coddingswallop seeks to exonerate herself even now:
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/466/story.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10522431&pnum=0Keith, my best wishes go with you and I hope you can make the same sort of difference in the new role.
So long, and thanks for all the fisks.
And that also gets my vote for one of the most brilliant lines ever. Thanks Jake.

Dave,
Oh No!
Thanks for all your awesome work. I've enjoyed and appreciated it.
