Used to live round the corner from there and walk by every day to work. Glad to see it hasn't changed.

Is there any way to delete images? I made 2 mistakes yesterday, that could disappear happily
Nope. Not that I can see anyway. We might just have to live with it, as we do with our fox pass in writing. ;-)
Adds to the flavour, if you arks me.

OK, so (I hope) this is my grandfather's Invercargill car dealership. Not sure of the exact year, but turn-of-the-sixties-ish, probably.
Lest you think from this minimalist layout that they failed to market themselves appropriately, I have the company's promotional ashtray (!), upon which is emblazoned: "Frazer & Smith: Sell Your Car To Us". Amazingly, I found it a few years ago in a secondhand shop on K Road. :)

Don't ask me. By the way, the answer to your question may be changing in a day or two. Just working on the omnipotent bit. ;-)

Morris dancing...
...little cars outside the house in Anglesea St
Makes me wanna reach for a hanky...
First car my mum owned was a Morris Minor...
and they used to import and store them
just along from us, in Battersea St, Sydenham.
(I used to make a nuisance of myself pestering
them for promotional car posters and stuff...) -

First car my mum owned was a Morris Minor…My Grandmother's Morri' thou' played a big part in my younger life. It had this looooong gear stick with so much play the front seat passenger was likely to get bruises on their knees. As for reverse, if you found it, you pretty much backed home to celebrate.
