  • Hard News: Madness in Mt Albert,

To be fair, Rich, one way of stacking a meeting is to cause a riot so the quorum is basically in a coma.

Another way could be to charge everyone $1000 to get in and say it's for a good cause. Init what National did at Sky City on Election night?

  • Hard News: The Sunday Capers,

What can this mean? Can we trust Ryall more, or less, because of his ties? Is he under stress and getting dressed in the dark?

Hah, It's precisely ties and trusts that I 'm suspicious of. He has always worn over the top combinations of attire. No stress just bad dress?

  • Hard News: Madness in Mt Albert,

I wasn't overly impressed with her grasp of local issues.

My first impression of throwing this talking head up for Mt Albert was because of her Asian ties and Mt Albert has a fast growing Asian population into the area. Then thinking about it I believe there are many Chinese and fewer Korean in the area,so I suspect throwing this (spanish poll) world's most beautiful politician into the mix is because her face is a familiar talking head. I believe that,s how shallow it is. Jus' sayin'

  • Hard News: The Sunday Capers,

OK... so the story actually seems to be Nat MP seems to be a pretty decent landlord.

Depends whose reading the story init? If I was living in his flat, I don't think I would consider my landlord evicting me a decent chap. If one of the clients was reading the story, doubt they consider him a decent chap. For someone about to loose their job at said premises might not find him such a decent chap either.
Article today in the Harold (was only glancing) where Tony (the vile) Ryall called pharmacists "underused tools" could be taken different ways also. I collected my prescription and imagined my pharmacist as a tool. Was about to ask him if he felt like a tool, then thought otherwise.:)

Maybe there doesn't even need to be a poll tax to screw things up after all.

    But you knew that. :)

Working longer is not the path to increased productivity, though. Any politician who tries to argue otherwise should be ignored out-of-hand as having not the slightest fucking idea what they're discussing.

Thanks Matthew, I was beginning to wonder why I wasn't yet impressed with any thing, any one, any place, any time, any word/s that may have sounded intelligent. Without criticism to anything in particular but I haven't learnt any info that I can decipher as intelligence.Hel I actually enjoyed Douglas today(shame, shame) because he began with "it's my job to give everyone a hard time" but I also got a letter on behalf of Rodney Hide, and that just confirmed we have no say in Megabeggardropapopamiss. Now I will lower all expectation of a for the people by the people city. I continue .

we'll end up with numerous local cycle ways of varying quality (depending on how much the councils opt in).

And that will be it pretty much.

Could I just ask that the Megabeggardropapopamiss build it's local cycle way at spots that only go down hill. I plan on buying a bike and reading further up, low and high gear can be good or bad.:) Plus can they make sure that all the councils join up with the next one.

Q How much longer can John Key keep saying anything he feels like to please his audience, before people begin to notice that his leadership is flakey?

    A. No problem.wont happen. Don't you know they're all a bunch of sheep in NZ?
