Struth Sofie, that salad sounds *scrumptious*!

'Tis. The concept is kinda odd but once you have a bite, it is a delightful, surprising tastebud titillation.I marinate my own feta in an olive oil herbal mix so I throw in my marinated feta and the touch of chilli does it wonders. It's one of ma favs.:)

  • Hard News: The Social Retail,

Has anyone seen Sanguinello/Blood Oranges on sale in NZ,

Yes, got one in ma fridge, I have a watermelon salad I make and my cheffy mate suggested I add said orange to my salad because he thinks the colour, texture etc is the clincher to a not only yummy but good looking salad. The Green Rebel (of which there is a few dotted around Auckland) was where I purchased it and that's 1/2 way down Dominion Rd. Salad is, thinly sliced red/Purple( you know what I mean) onion, cubed watermelon, pieces of the blood orange and cubed feta. drizzle olive oil, squeeze of lemon or balsamic or whatever. That's it.

  • Hard News: The Social Retail,

Don't worry, I get your drift.:) Europe tends to have alcohol all over the place and the early introduction seems to give youth a better understanding so a better understanding of other substances could surely be a good thing. I know I would love to see marijuana decriminalized at least. I am a firm supporter of maintenance programmes for othr drug use but I not so sure 'bout the meth, just because I don't like "go fast" and I suspect brains don't either. as to where? I dunno.Media 7 just stated so later dude.

Just like pharmacists are the appropriate distributers of diastop.

A little bit too much information there Steven :)
Could I suggest that an environment like teh supermarket could subconsciously have the effect of introducing food to be consumed with the alcohol which can be good for the binge drinker and may help to change the way alcohol is perceived.Or not.....

Ahem. That's a classic case of needing to refresh before posting.

And that's a classic thing to do after using the loo paper ;)

Dominion Wines and Spirits is also surprisingly good on the foreign beer front,

Which one is that. How far down? Re Chef co, diff backlava have diff consistency so some would appear less fresh but I go for babaganush and hummus and tabouli and, and, breads and get olives and feta from the Indian Spice shop in Sandringham and yoghurt and spices etc. Actually hardly hit the supermarket at all. Only go now for eggs and dog food.

  • Hard News: The Social Retail,

Recently was rather impressed in my hunt for a decent range of beer. Balmoral Liquor on Dominion Rd has an extensive range of Wines and Spirits and many foreign beers sold also as singles allowing us a selection to try. It is opp Landscape Rd between Hells Pizza and Chef Co. which is a fantastic Lebanese food outlet that does shwarmas and all manner of products freshly made on the premises each day.mmmmm.Falafels to die for. Backlava to die for :)

Everyone should just move to Kaiwaka.

Move and widen SH1 in the middle of it. then one could build a bridge and just get over it.:)
