Normanby Rd of which the entrance to the Mount is situated has been gentrified, with C.A.C now a desirable restaurant and Sabato across the road just up,to the gym and design stores before the stroll up to the park and Mt Eden itself. I reckon I could sell it as an apartment block. :)
Of course the follow up must say it's all Labour's fault. A story to run along side key's accusations of muckraking. By golly, I am starting to believe we have a right wing newspaper. -
I do think there is a beautifully timed irony to this situation in leafy Mt Eden.The same week that tougher sentencing is introduced with 3 strikes becoming reality, thanks to the Act Party. Most who will see the jail will be those from Rodney's electorate. Reap what you sow?

Exactly. Even if one tried to write to Minister Hide with queries regards this bill, there was a standard reply issued 3 weeks later, and anything to JK has a standard reply too. Not the most encouraging way to get the public involved.Still I reckon, if it looks like Hide is the fall guy,English has taken over in the "sell Auckland's assets" department We have billions remember.That will balance the books :)
