Can ya tell my laptop is right up the shit? Still, the bling is forever popular eh? Hell, Nzers like to say " oo he's got a nice car.I wouldn't mind me some of that, and as stated tonight, I wonder how big his dick is?"
So, genuine, what would one ask JK if given the opportunity?

I get the feeling that it'll take council firing a few directors who don't do what the council wants for the message to get through about who's actually in charge.

That's optimistic. If Nat stays in, there wont be an op to complain. As we see now, don't like it? change the law.

but it's still really up in the air...

I think it is as simple as, their way or the highway. The concept or dream is/has been there for years. This government gives a bit, takes a lot, probably cos it's their turn. There really is no surprises.I really think they are on a trend that does not require people power. Our opposition to mining is just an inconvenience. It just requires other ways to go about the same objective. So they pulled it off by nobody knowing how any MP thinks about mining ,at the same time, nobody from National, Act, or Maori have shown any impression of Aucklanders.Who said they care about how Aucklanders feel? That is just process. That is what I suspect is what is going on. I really don't think this government is out to dous, just think they don't are if we suffer on the way.Key is a great front man for this. There is always another politician to take flak. It must be sooo Crosby Textor.

I knew this was sick. I again want to know why is there a transition agency in the far North. A friend selling land had to deal with a Transition Agency he had never heard of before. It used to be the Far North District Councill, but a Transition agency exists? Pete Hodgeson (sp ??) is persevering. I'm watching Parliament tomorrow.
Aside from that, someone said tonight, if you had a question to JK, what would it be? Any suggestions ? I have email :)

  • Hard News: Rousing Auckland,

Oh Sacha I didn't mean you. just your words was where it went, so I was trying to tie everything up as one. I'll blame the quirky Irish, Mex ancestry. I'm confusing I know. In my head I'm completely sensible, but you knew that. :)

  • Hard News: Rousing Auckland,

    Fair enough

Soo, a few of you think the Aucklander is left wing and slightly left bias?
So what are the stats on the Auckland vote? How left is the vote?I know as, and in, Auckland, alot of us take a bit of time to complain loudly, but I did think a few Aucklanders got loud at the last mine protest up Q St. I haven't found evidence of across the board, really good journalism in the local papers so why is, or should, the Aucklander be any different. Hell, look at the front page of the Herald. Last I looked, your views on the budget was in speech bubbles that complained about anyone complaining about it being unfair to the lower income earners, was just stupid or greedy. Lovely. If I did a survey, I think I might realise if the questions were a bit loaded, but I also know, I'd defend the left. The right has a good marketing strategy, it's fuking slick if you ask me. I'd say I've gotta hand it to them, but it's nothing I respect so I wont. If I was the Aucklander and got a result I wanted, I'd publish. There were 8000 odd Aucklanders that didn't like it. If not good enough for a poll, at least 8000 Aucklanders got involved. What's the problem? Someone chose a sensational piece of a "your views"for the paper, and it's pushed buttons,Isn't that what the Sunday papers do? Maybe there should be better rules to make sure it's all nicey nicey letters to the Paper?
Jus' sayin', y'know it's Sunday eh?

but I'm still slightly surprised that so many can be bought off so cheaply.

Yeah that was why I suggest selfish because the majority support this Government.Sad also that, the deep pockets want to go down the path of the con. All the research in the world suggests this sort of budget is not beneficial to the majority of the country or the people and yet the spin would seem to be the size of the bloody oil spill off the U.S coast of gulf of Mexico. Like Cunliffe said, early chilhood education WTF?
