Erotica:Sexually arousing imagery that is not considered pornographic, obscene, or offensive to the average person. This suits me.

Very interesting to read all these posts. But isn't there a distinction between Pornography (implies violence etc) and Erotica. The arguments seem to lump them all together. Lets have erotica if unharmful and fun.

For my second marriage I tried to get a proxie so that I could avoid it all, but that is not legal. I agreed to go on condition that I could write the "service". It took 36 seconds and all that was really needed was an affirmation that we were both willing to get married. Then we had a party/dinner in a private garden. Next time will be even simpler.

We in the National are full of virtue when making capital out of the secret taping at the Labour Conference earlier in the year. However this time, taping conversations at a National Conference is disgusting, devious, and so like those nasty Labour people who also steal e-mails. Shame!

Russell I tried to send this via the on-line system to you directly, but it does not seem to send. I just thought it might be of interest:
The NZIER Poll June 08 paints a very different picture re Party support (page 13)

The thing that annoys me with Nine to Noon is the prominence given to misadventures in individual hospitals, which must scare the daylights out of prospective patients.

Ste phen:I am deeply sorry if anything I said made you feel dirty. I thought that all the way through that I was speaking as an elderly interested spectator. If my thoughts at any time in this marathon caused offence to anyone I apologise. Certainly not my intent.

Carolyn: Absolutely so. I have seen the escalation factor. Chance may be the factor some of the time but not the only factor. And again everyone would agree with this knowledge based on research. Especially related to repeat offenders. Scum! There are others however, who are one-off explosions.

Sofie. I agree with you. Absolutely, Except if you are going to change behaviour, you have no choice but to look at the who, what, why. I found a a 9 year old girl was stealing, cheating. Naughty. That is wrong. Then found that her friends father was interfering sexually. (Incidentally I have fought a lifetime based on the premise that we are all born equal and despise misuse of priviledge through wealth, or power, etc. I was prominent in the banning of strapping children in schoolsetc) I believe that the ITS NOT OK researchers did more than just promote the message. I am for them and the message.
If you read this after your work day I hope you had a good day. Sounds like a fatuous Americanism. But true. -
Craig: Thanks I did look up the definition.
I totally agree that it is not an excuse to damage other people -at all. Pity we could not have listed all the common agreements. Does everyone abhor violence against people or any living thing? Yes. Unanimous. No excuses. yes. Unanimous. So not going through the human frailities again. Chance meant if this was a different time, a different place, arrived later, weapon not to hand, baby had slept for even a few hours, etc.
