  • Hard News: An unacceptable failure of care, in reply to andin,

Even tho they may be nice folks and all, professionally they just cant be trusted to get anything right, apart from issue traffic tickets.

They are pretty good at hovering over houses dangling buckets of blue poison too.

Narcissists don't apologise. It's beneath them. John Key is a good example. I doubt that incident was scripted. It was so stupid. But they seem to be saying they were encouraged by management, which in their minds, (no matter how small) vindicates their behaviour. Bullies are bastards and we have them in most reality shows. I suspect the network looks for types of behaviour and that's one of the traits they get ,to spice things up as it were. Even a backlash like this has helped ratings for the network so as a gamble, it can pay off. The Network does an obligatory apology on behalf and try to move on. If Moon or Kills had apologised it would have sounded insincere because it would have been. Narcissists have ego not empathy.

Thank you Lilith, and while you're at it, I'll just say

I'm disgusted, but not surprised. I know the process. Sometimes it feels like " FTP!".

Still not an actual apology from either of them

Why would they apologise? They are insinuating that TV3 called for her behaviour and his "highly opinionated" comment suggests him also, therefore vis-a-vis they have nothing to apologise for.
I don't watch or like this sort of programme but the show got a huge viewing the last couple of shows and I suspect the new judges will peak interest now so all in all TV3 will probably be happy that ratings will climb. Probably why Kills and Moon couldn't say anything until they were out of the Country, their contracts honoured perhaps.

Yesterday ,under urgency, National found a way to get their perks another way unsupported by the Greens.

  • Legal Beagle: Update on the Former MP's…, in reply to linger,

Why oh why oh why is it that...

it becomes Labour fault . Simon Bridges should be answering questions in that interview with Guyon. Yes Annette King would have benefited along with a few more Labour but National are the Govt of the day and seem to slime their way past any condemnation. Greens basically said ,once it came to their attention (probably this blog) they asked questions and Bridges didn't respond, then they blocked it. Little did state it was a different issue to suggest it change altogether which technically I think it is. He also noted he hadn't done extensive homework on it. That sounds honest at least. I don't really think that interview sounded as bad as all that is suggested, I just find Espiner badgering the most annoying style of interview . The badgering is designed to catch one comment to be twisted to suit and hey presto ,Little will now wear "a deal is a deal". Perhaps he was suggesting that because the law was written in '99 it needed to be the '99 law that was intended?

Trouble now is tho', fares that will possibly be purchased from overseas Airlines will see all profits head offshore. Had it been pegged to Air NZ ,no matter cost, the profits go back into our economy. We own it remember.
