I'm struggling to understand how, amongst other things, he can be a proud and loyal member of SAG at the same time as undermining them and both NZ Equity and MEAA.
Unless this is spin, it would appear to be only the Australian Union.

The faces that the wider public saw was JWL and RM and H Kelly. The media spun "Union,=trouble"
Now JWL and RM are no where to be seen except to defend their stance which basically said pro union/ workers rights means probably wont get a job.
Spin. -
I have to say what utter bollocks
Glad you feel so strongly but in reality we have this attitude that many follow and believe. That's the perception, which is why I believe it has become so controversial. Yes, the motives to march are about PJ and movie making, but the media can spin it whichever way suits. As it has been portrayed all week is how it will continue, I suspect.

well from the photos coming in from wellington it doesn't look very anti union.
That's great, I look forward to the TV news tonight reinforcing that view, although I wont hold me breath.
(I'd insert a wink here but major keyboard and computer probs has forced my hand to not, dammit, I can't even smile) -
Hahahaha
Yes and timing really does seem to be, yet again, appalling. I am saddened that these rallies (protests not) are on Labour Day, no matter what was intended. We actually know what will be perceived.

Sofie, I thing the big swinging thread is over there =====>
Ohh, what did I miss again?, shall I guess...;)

Is their any evidence that many people took what English was saying all that seriously?
The swinging voter decides elections and they swing off soundbites and smiles.
Just a bunch of swingers then? :)
