Sofie, if the issue is politicians misusing stats, then addressing that makes sense.
Yes ,if I had that beef I'd complain in that direction. I'd also fill in the census cos I like to be involved if for nothing else than the right to do so. The likes of Peter Grower have always been out there. Surely he is that margin of error we always take into account for everything counted so he is counted anyway. Just felt he had that right to enter into the census his way. :)

and your refusal will not make any useful difference there.
But he will feel better about himself and who are we to suggest statistics should be entered for benefit of the country when we do know the power that be, will skew whiff whatever is needed for the benefit of the flavour of the day?

Good point, I guess.
Ha, a point, at least.;-)

Oh, I won't be listening, Sof. Never do. But it still makes me uncomfortable that he is being put back in a prime position.
Y'know what? I think this is a pretty public place to put him back under public scrutiny. He now knows his best behaviour is imperative to his remaining in the industry at all.
So even if his audience falls back in love with him, it can also be a show of forgiveness, which, many people could do with to make them better in society, even though we know there is also that bunch of scum supporters waiting in the wings. -
Without knowing what he's been doing in the interim
He returned to the station at the start of this year and has been eased back via sports newsreading and backup presenting roles.
(From the link upthread.)
but I do question the ethics of whacking him on a much listened to spot, really.
I guess his Radio Sport imposed probo is up and in any situation similar, one gets probation, so without wishing to endorse 3 strikes and you're out Act policy, I guess he has been dealt with accordingly. Remember your ears will be your voice in this radio spot,so if you find it yuk (like me), don't listen.

I think the busiest point along SH1 between Puhoi and Wellsford carries around 20,000 vehicles a day, and that's in Warkworth. Once you get outside a town, generally between Puhoi and Warkworth it's 15,000, north of Warkworth it's 10,000.
More bullshit from Joyce.
I was on that road twice this last week, and 4 times in the last month. Not one traffic jam,let alone any problems amongst any existing road works and none at all into Warkworth. I can't help thinking every time that all the works around Matakana, and going to Omaha are happening for one person's ( and mates) holiday batch.Or am I just too cynical? ;-)

So, did this be seen?
Way to reign on his parade. -
I've e-mailed both her and Simon Bridges, asking if they plan to make themselves available for Breakfast in future. As soon as I get an answer, you'll be the second to know.
If you had started with that I'd say good on you. Instead you say everyone else is just as bad for having been on it before. Give me an example that equates to what the PM just sat through. Remember he categorically said he'd be back on next week thinking Henry was going to still be there.

Yep. India lodges formal complaint
Oooh, bitch slap.
You know, Paul, if you want to go there - it should also have mattered to Jacinta Adern.
If he said that to her I'd agree, but he didn't so, would you like to ask her opinion? Please do, then if you think her answer is inappropriate, go ahead drag her down to the PM position. That is, as long as it's her giggling and joking with Paul Henry then I'll understand that comparison .Meanwhile I'll call bullshit there.

Alas it is late and I have tricky costume repairs to do combat with tomorrow before my performance group flies like fools .... Venezuela this time ;)
Best of luck Nick Shand. Fly your pretties. ;)
