Both. Although Beijing is a bit blustery. I guess I didn’t help myself much by going to the only shopping centre in all of China where it is easy to get a park right by the entrance….

Love your bus stop and pigeons.

Looking back at last weekend again. Decided we need more photos, and less banter round here.

Thank you, Jackson. But tell me – were you travelling through a Dr Seuss book?

The clouds earlier today were good for gothic architecture. First Church, Dunedin.

That is an amazing church. The very first time I saw it I wanted to lie flat on my back on the opposite side of Moray Place and point the camera I didn’t have (poor scarfie, you see) up at it. Great photo, very well captured.

Because of the height It is kind of tricky to photograph from the Moray Place side, as it is busy enough to discourage lying around on it.

Yesterday we went for a walk under the Auckland Harbour Bridge (various locations, Northcote end). It’s fairly monochrome anyway but lends itself to a black and white filter. Will you allow me the red??

Of course. Nice shots, and glad people are still adding to this.

And that church looks worth a visit one day David. Impressive.

This old pump wheel from the Karangahake Gorge lends itself to black and white.

These three trees on Mt Managere also.

I’ve been picking through some archives of my old photos this evening. Technically, the black and white in this one isn’t mine, I just found the same spot 120 or so years later.
