And I'm not at all sure, Dexter X, that you can actually determine what is in Iti's mind-

Iti’s public behaviour, comes across to me, that in his mind he largely only has room for himself - his currency is cheap and the culmination of his actions have to my mind made him worthless.

Dexter, with all due respect, picking on the little guy is not what any of this was about. I think you know that much.-

My feeling is that at the heart of “it” was spite from Iti that he marginalised himself from Tuhoe elders and other leaders seeking to negotiate a settlement with the crown.

I wonder whether any of the “course participants” have gained positions working as private security contractors in Iraq; had “Iti and Co” secured a grenade launcher would they have blown themselves up in learning to operate it – most likely.

The Legislation, the behaviour of “Iti and Co”, the Police Raids and ensuing court case are pieces of a puzzle that results when idiots collide.

Never underestimate the power of rampant stupidity - Iti has been fortunate, perhaps he will end up doing community service with Doug Montrose Graham and Bill Jefferies – they can shoulder each others burden and perhaps sell their story of unity to the News of the World.

What, advocating peace and unity for the people of Aotearoa

I very much doubt "he" would become such an advocate.

Looking forward, not, to Tama Iti, in his own mind, becoming NZ's equivalent of Nelson Mandela.

This policy makes my skin crawl - it disadvantages many - it is narrow in many ways including the perspective that people after completing their initial qual will need at sometime in their “adult” working life retrain and gain further quals in a likely different field.

It also overlooks that no learning is wasted even when it does not relate directly to the field one chooses to work.

The policy overlooks the changing nature of work and learning and an aging workforce that will need to re-educate itself on a “continuous” or fairly regular basis.

The real problem is that the economy is being badly handled/managed – there is so much that is rudderless – The tax take being down almost two billion – this policy is not a sensible response.

The fertility policy and the student allowance cuts although perhaps having appeal to the wider electorate are unnecessary and the announcements are perhaps well timed to be a distraction to the present range of fiascos the Nats have created for themselves.

Banks sounds like a three-legged sloth, on Diazepam, who having fallen out of his tree and landed on his head, has lost the balance of his tiny little mind.

I kind'a hoped John Campbell would pile into him the way he did to Clark.

I watched on Friday Campbell Live and the pre recorded interview with Key that aired – although holding some promise – it died when they eventually rubbed each other’s bellies.

The answer to most questions is – “I can’t tell you either way because I just don’t know”. Yeah Right.

The closing of the interview – The cast iron guarantee from Banks that he has complied with the Electoral Act - The million of things going on - we don’t talk about things we don’t need to be involved in.

We don't need to be involved in things that might blow up in our face - so yes keep your distance - He who sups with the devil should draw a long spoon.

Key has asked Banks a salient question – Did the returns filed comply with the Act – Banks has given an answer that they do – This suits Key for the time being, however, when the truth comes out Banks may no longer be a cabinet minister although he may hang onto the seat of Epsom until any prosecution runs it course.

I believe Kim Dot Com on the matter of the donations and considered Banks suffers from involving himself in the fundraising and a National Party Support Team that was perhaps sloppy – the default setting seeming to be all large donations were to be treated as anonymous regardless.

If Banks and Act purge themselves from the political landscape – well good riddance to bad rubbish – Act in Epsom is a cunning plan that is tanking marvelously.

If you can’t get the small stuff right then just don’t sweat the big stuff like managing the economy, 160,000 unemployed, and the Christchurch rebuild - but by all means concentrate on the Sky City Con Deal and Assets Sales - you know do that stuff well - the stuff that shafts the electorate.

Banks is gone - once the budget gets rolled out and the police conclude the first stage of their investigation and charge Banks - Key might then find the time to address the issue with more than - I have a :"cast iron guarantee" from Banks and fankly I am busy.

It is Gnome Over - eventually:

A study of Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) would actually lead to correctly understanding the economic problems we face and the likely solutions to these problems.

Give us the skinny on this in 100 words or less.

Apparently the wording in the act does not link the candidate and their campaign team as much as the equivalent central electoral legislatation does.

That is just how daft the law is - to actually consider that there is viable degree of seperation. It does not serve the public interest.
