Given our news watching habits I’m not surprised.
I do wonder sometimes how much of the potential news audience find it near on impossible to actually be home in time to watch
We live in ever changing work and home environments that for many don't involve being able to sit down at 6pm to watch the news headlines which for those connected are hours out of date then anyways

So much of the publicity and media coverage around the show seems to be as if there aren’t a bunch of books already out there which more or less explain what’s going to happen anyway.
the marketing of being able to watch a show the same time it airs in the US (home country) is pretty much 98% of services like sky, neon, lightbox et al's marketing - its the don't wait to pirate it tactic - not everyone takes time off to watch as not everyone works a 9-5, its also the school holidays... blah blah blah. Its also one of the big TV events of the year

It all comes down to education - reduce the harm before it happens
Some open, honest and credible literature that clearly points out in lay terms what a user can experience from the substances they choose to take, plus the pros and cons of the substance in question
Training for those on the frontline on how to help those that find themselves in trouble - that includes paramedics, ambulance staff etc.
Training for the police on how to deal with those on substances and empathy training - I guess they might already get some of this?

I wonder if anyone at these big bucks SVOD services bothered to look at how other creative industries adapted to the internet... you know learnt from others (costly) mistakes and decided that the best solution would be "a"... instead of adopting "b" the traditional model with a slightly differing delivery mechanism, which will of course end badly for all but a very few players
Too many competing services with content scattered across them... marketed in a quite confused manner.... yep thats a winning strategy, oh well there's always lawyers if your pockets are deep eh

always someone hating on people having fun in a bloody entertainment complex, of all things, isn't there... and yet the St James did big parties like no other auckland venue, the nooks and crannies and multiple rooms made attending an adventure... so much fun - not to even start on the wealth of talent that spun there *shakes glowstick*

Serious question: who here regularly watches Campbell Live? And by that, I mean the full episode, live to air.
Very rarely since Ali Ikram joined the team I lost any interest in the show, watch the stories I want to or am down to via twitter online. Prior to him joining every night I was home in time
It is the only show on broadcast TV the 14 year old will ask to watch - and pretty much the only show on broadcast TV we do turn the telly on for

They were never going to fund another season, made it quite clear when this current funding was announced... good PR by the agency - story of this whole affair all round really... everyone gets their drama no real victims... well two former pop stars perhaps
"NZ on Air announced today it would provide funding of up to $800,000 for 32 episodes of a new season.
A NZ on Air spokeswoman confirmed this would be the last season it would assist with funding the X Factor New Zealand."

And as much as I am no fan of reality TV, these shows keep a lot of people employed and a shedload of people watch the shows - this is entertainment (and broadcast wins) as much as it pains some

I'm sure there are gender differences to some songs, the welsh miners I'd say not one of them
We just watched Pride this weekend with the younger chaps in our clan - there are a few moments that one wells up, the song being a very emotional moment
Its a funny movie on reflection (benefit of seeing it through with youngsters) given our now very modern view of coal
