    I’m pretty excited for in 6 months time – we’ve planted a ‘glade’ of heliconia’s – they’ve progressed from looking like a garden of stumps to having leaves but it will be amazing when they flower! We’ve had torrential rains this week so that should speed them up at bit! This one is from a wee town called Minca which is in the rainforest in the Caribbean coast.

    This is of the Brom Family that I do not know the species and neither does my friend who is growing it. It is unusual.

    Here too. But the wind!!! Trying to work out how to capture it. This the best I’ve come up with so far.

    The trees across the back are looking decidedly fragile.
