  • Hard News: Leaving the bunker,

High paying jobs are a win win.
Early Ford car assemblers were paid well (Ford is responsible for some shit but not low pay for his workers). This built pride loyalty and the American economy.
Not a model for govt employees but for the general economy.

So yeah that great kiwi company getting a headache over Auckland Airport might have a few more headaches for their complicity in 'rendition' as part of the war of terror.

"All those armed to the teeth, former "insurgent", Sunni private armies are gonna be fun in the next year or two, as well."

Which was Bushs aim when he disbanded the entire Iraqi military & police.

From European history where did the Nazis come from = the disaffected unemployed soldiers of WW1. And want did this militia do?

Was it IBM who leased typwriters to the allied and the axis forces. (Enabling the Holocaust) Then when a typewriter was capture by the otherside charged them a lease for the use of the same typewriter while still charging the orininal leasee.

  • Hard News: Unhappy Birthday,

I/O I knew if the war went on it would ruin the American economy. I just didn't think it would happen this fast or have been calculated to collapse the US economy in order to benefit Bush.
The war being 'positive' for the American way of life, I thought was to secure cheap oil but maybe it was about just securing oil.

A collapse in US economy and a drop in pay/standards of living in the US & would regenerate industry in America as wages would be competitive with China. A race to the bottom where only the shareholders would win.

And after WMDs any conspiracy theory is plausible.

  • Hard News: A business most feral,

Sam F - Yeah I'll never vote ACT but I like their honesty.
I even respect Rodney Hide now he's had a change of life. Not trashing people and standing on principle - Foreshore & Seabed etc.

Beats the spokesman for failed Fijian Timeshares and Perk-buster but only after he cleared out his Airpoint account persona he started politics with.

And the longest running professional theatre is where?

    Christchurch = Court Theatre

I'm pretty sure I was responsible for the end of Pro-Am Theatre Sports there in the early 90s. The Am that is.

  • Hard News: Unhappy Birthday,

    I/O I like it.

Bush is oil money so he brings his corp cronnies into an unwinnerble war to raise oil revenue. The war is paid for by US taxes & Iraqi blood.
In so doing destroys the US/World economy and can buy up great swathes of Industry it at bargin prices to dominate the world economy even further.
