You were lucky! We drove without any map/s. Dad happily got lost. He seemed to think the US Navy gave him NZ driving cred.Now it seems I am pretty much the same though, I always say to t'other half that it's all a grid pattern. If you just zig and zag one eventually hit's the beach. :)

I thought Hones walk-about in Oz was a good use of his time and made a few good connections. I disagree with him on a number of issues but I love his honesty, he hides nothing.
Wasn't meant as a bitch,just that he often comments that way. However he is a representative of the taxpayer so perhaps he could give a shit.

Standard term of phrase I would think. Heard him comment several times with those exact words. Trip to Austalia (taxpayer funded)then tiki tour off track) springs to mind.

Actually FWIW I am glad that us humans get out raged 'cos this sort of stuff is fundamentally wrong. I sadly knew and expected this the minute that National got it's major win. I believe we NZers have hope and always want a good outcome. Generally can handle what gets delivered but this was a new well oiled machine out of Australia who had been successful recently with Boris so I had concern. I believe we have world in financial strife, we have people wanting answers and media to fuel that. Nats are good at the con, convincing people to believe. I don't believe they think it can hurt because it never hurt them.But I am not surprised and figure we are getting into a whole lot of republican American paranoia being introduced. That is the bitch.

Never had. A test case I suppose would be the right to be anonomous.They have my fingerprints and who knows what else . I am just fortunate enough to like me myself and I and have no problem defending my right to be me. Doesn't mean I like what these guys are doing.Doesnt mean it's right (but it is extremely right) it's morally wrong.
