I think the criteria for a cinematic work to qualify as art would preclude a film from working successfully on a pornographic level.
Either the art would detract from the effectiveness of the porn, or vice (pun intended) versa. -
See that's exactly the kind of service that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about a company. Which is why is a crying shame that Kowhai (correctly IMO) doesn't feel comfortable naming the company, cause they'd likely fire the driver involved.

He was on the Rock as well. Something about a whole new paradigm, and not coughing up for Eden park, cause the govt volunteered for the RWC, so Auckland ratepayers shouldn't have to foot the bill.

On the other hand, we're not always good at acknowledging excellent service when we get it. I heard this week about a group of people who were so impressed with someone's performance they went to the board and made it clear they don't want to deal with anyone else.
Case in point - you didn't tell us who!
To walk the walk - two weeks ago I went to the refuse transfer station in Sunshine Ave here in Hamtown. Their facilities are ok, not as snaz as the council one in Lincoln Rd, but their service is excellent. The chap at the register has discretion to charge whatever he thinks is appropriate for your load - we had a half-full trailer, he only charged us for a car load. The friend of ours we borrowed the trailer off recommended them as he's had nothing but good service from them also. If you are in Hamilton and you have rubbish, take it to Sunshine Ave. Forget the council one. And I used to work for the council, administering the refuse transfer station (10 years ago).
Anyone else have any word of mouth to spread? I'm always on the lookout for a good recommendation, and I trust you guys.

I heard Ritchie McCaw found a cellphone outside the stadium after that fateful match. He immediately and gallantly returned it to Wayne Barnes who asked how Ritchie knew it was his. Ritchie replied by pointing at the screen, it said "15 missed calls".

Its a conversation that needs to be had - whether tertiary education is as much a right of the individual NZer as Primary and Secondary ed.
When the student loans scheme started back in about 1990, the numbers of tertiary students were increasing markedly. Before then, tertiary education was more or less optional for having a decent job. It was only the late 80s when more than half of high school students studied through to 7th form.
In this day & age, the majority of kids end up taking some kind of tertiary ed, from university degrees, to the prerequiste tech courses for most trades. If we're at the point where someone can't reasonably expect to be able to get on in life without some kind of tertiary study, then we need to be looking at more govt funding, since it will always be the lower socio-economic groups that will miss out if there's a financial hurdle to accessing tertiary courses.Imagine a political party coming out with a policy of charging high school students $4000 per year as that will increase their commitment to education.
The difference, and I'm not saying that you're wrong, is that tertiary students are all (technically) adults. Different standards are applied once people hit 18. Standards often relating to how self-reliant and responsible for their own actions they are expected to be.

restocking the fridge in the morning from the local 7/11
I thought the trick was to drink only the clear spirits, be very careful opening them, & top them up from the tap... and hope that whoever was in the room last didn't already do that.
