I like it, it'd be like having our own (Southern) Rugby World Cup every year on TV, and every 2 or 4 years locally. When the road-show rolled through town you'd get more local publicity and interest than the current system. Share the games around the main cities and run a few out in the smaller places to spread the joy - a big 4 (or 5 or whatever) nations game coming to town once every few years would stir up places like Rotovegas or Napier and bring the punters in from the hinterland.
Good lateral thinking from the Dropkicks, someone (I'm looking at you IRB) buy them a beer -
They evoke stereotypes with the plausible deniability of fuzzy animals.
Telecom learned much from the lessons of George Lucas.

Even the ones that say Telecom mobile users are a bunch of muppets?

It'd be a VW Combi surely?

Well, Hamilton teenagers are indoctrinated from an early age...

the anthem about how blessed we are by God?
No, the New Zealand one - the one grovelling for God's favour.

Maybe, but they'd also have to cut off its head and bury it face-down at a crossroads.

Its not that it doesn't count, but it isn't statistically rigorous.
If the same number of women check into refuges after an AB loss as check in on every other weekend of the year, but some of those women say their partner beat them because of the rugby, does that mean there's less beatings for other "reasons" than for the rest of the year?
Note the "if" at the stat of that paragraph - I have no evidence about anything either way, but neither does anyone else, or if they have, they haven't given it to the Herald.

I for one am shocked, nay, horrified, that a man chosen above all others for the supreme honour of representing our country in the hallowed black jersey could sink as low as to feel any kind of dismay at the culmination of years of training ending in such an unexpexted fashion. Imagine him having the temerity to even consider feeling upset at the outcome of a game of such importance.
I ain't into the rugger enough to shed a tear over us not winning the cup (again) but the thought of another generation being expected to clam up and endure everything with utter stoicism could bring a tear to my eye.
While you were applauding the family violence ad, did you spare a thought for JK and his plea to not just harden up?
