I hope that’s not too two-faced of me

Nah just good you can see that there is a bigger picture than just personality involved

I expect him to have the qualities needed to convince Palmer to stay on in finance, to draw Robertson close on the front bench, and to select a deputy from such as Jacinda, Grant, or Nash.

I assume you mean Parker in finance. If those all bagging Little actually took time out to listen to him and not like him after, I may understand. If you did listen to him you would have heard him say, his respect for the other contenders has grown while on the road . You would have heard him express disappointment about Parker's choice but would be talking to him. You would have heard him say he planned to call them all in to look at positions they may be interested in. You would have heard him repeat how CGT wasn't delivered properly and that it wasn't right for right now whilst they try reclaim those that were turned off them in this last Election and that they had to take a look at all the reasons behind their thrashing which CGT was one of. If you heard him or read any of the interviews it, would be obvious why he is setting CGT aside for now!

Helen is very wise and I think her influence is more widespread than many realise.

Yes, I too think she is (wise, Sofie means wise too )and her age wasn't even a problem ;) The sum of the Party and it's Mps have many strengths. Even the odd pitbull or 2. I'm sure they can get behind their Leader. I think that's what I like about Labour, they are all quite different, a real melting pot.

I think she did, but it was Cunliffe ;-)

Audrey Young says Helen Clark also wanted Andrew Little

[Former Prime Minister Helen Clark recognised it in 2007 and tried to persuade Mr Little to stand in 2008,

And everyone accuses her of not thinking of the future of the Party. I recall she brought Shearer on board too. Fancy that.

I'm not a member but I have given $1 worth literally. I figured (and told t'other he was helping too ) that $1 a month for the next 2 years was the least I could do to help Labour organise a good strong opposition. I'll give again if I see that put to good use. I want to get rid of Nactional and I know anything is better than what we have. I'd hope at this point Dotcom gets in behind labour to help rather than hinder. I'd like to see a concerted intelligent effort of Parties working toward the same goal for 2017. That does not mean losing their identities . Just focusing on the individual parties strengths is enough to show a formidable force. I'd like to think a man that can organise a group like the EPMU can also unite the opposition Parties with respect. I'm prepared to watch this space, therfore that's what I will do. Adios mi amigos!

Key wasn’t given a chance, he was given a back rub and smothered in kisses.

Thank you, my thoughts exactly. Hooton ,all shootin’ again and he’d be the biggest kiss arse for Key if ever I saw one and all for what? Is it because the guy is a good gambler? Is it because Key is good at gambling with other peoples money? Well he is gambling our Countries and some people think that’s perfectly acceptable without everyone’ s permission. And “a Mandate” can go jump.

ETA and , while I’m at it. A bunch of liars, cheats, and thieves and the likes of Hooton find that acceptable. Frankly it stinks and now it’s all over MSM’s face. Heaps of them should feel ashamed that their work has been so shoddy for at least 6 years now. At least with the slug ,we see him out in the open once the extent was uncovered. MSM in general have run for cover and pretend there is “nothing to see here. David Fisher is an exception which I admire.

What a bunch of anti-union horse shit from the MSM and people who should know better. How about basing opinions of Andrew Little on some sort of experience of working with the guy?

Oh you beat me to it and I haven’t even listened to anyone yet :)
