A little political will and wisdom would be appreciated (we live in hope).

Central Plains Water will save drilling for the ever reducing 20000year old water. BUT will poison our water through nitrogen & the effluent we get while others get affluent. Let’s not open our eyes to the sea water invading the aquifers.

Our Mayor strikes a Charlton Heston like stance on Fires in CHCH - if he had that charisma he’d stand for Mayor again - just looked grumpy old & bitter & he doesn't have asthma.
Under his leadership all cycleways work was stopped.

If you want to play on the Burnham confidence courses.
The old Krypton Factor course & the newish High Rpoes course give them a ring and they'll hook you up. Added bonus - you don't look an ass in public (buggar if that was your goal) and you don't block the cycleways.

  • Speaker: I Lost My Arms in Bootcamp,

Why be such a pretentious ponce?
If you want to join the Army, do so. You're never too old in NZ & you'll end up on a tropical island - say Solomons is where the TF are serving at the moment.
You seem to have all the other prerequisites for blocking Hagley Park Cycleways already - kids - without the need to join these pretentious asses.
I know he's an ex-storeman from the Royal Marines, but the intimidation you allude to only leads to scared soldiers (and soldiers includes an oath and sense of duty to something bigger than self).
The rise of militia and those attracked to militia scare me.
Anke - did you fail art school by any chance?

    Anyone donated to GreenPeace lately?

Labour introduced the new Terrorism laws where any activity that hampers business is Terrorism (wee exception for employee based union activity).

Save Happy Valley are Terrorists under Phill Goffs law.
You know those guys saving snails (dying to tie this to the French & Rainbow warrior - all too delicious) on the West Coast (AKL doesn't have a westcoast it is in the Sth Isaland & the East Coast is in the North).
I kind of have a softside for Solid Energy - they have done a lot of good here.

    Absolutely Outrageous.
Stay with your cousin 2yrs ago & when you left you gave him your cell phone.
Now you face 15yrs behind bars.

Ego is a nasty little thing at times.
Denounce your superior or colleague as a Jew/Socialist/Homosexual (although not many we in this camp)/Slav and you are embraced by the Party and promoted in your profession.
As most of these professionals were middle class with ties to defunct nobility. The ego stroking went to super human and ultimately inhumane ends.

Pogues lyrics of Birmingham six still have a ring of truth to them.

McVeigh was trying to make a point about the injustice of the 1st Gulf War, admittedly in a wacko way.

Interesting the fear that foreign Drs will import their problems with them (problems largely exported by the west).
Contrast this with the Yarpie at Waikato DHB looking to exclude 'ineligible' patients. A bit of Race based health care?
