  • Legal Beagle: Election 2014: The Special…,

Nice work Graeme, the election night result will stand
The people have spoken, the Left are as not a popular choice as social media would have us believe( the snark on Twitter from the left over the Leaders speeches was amazing) let us as a country get moving, there is plenty to do

  • Hard News: A call from Curia, in reply to Tom Semmens,

The law does need looking at with the growth of advance voting
I have seen photos of Mana people in all their regalia standing outside polling places
I am not sure if that or polls would change voters minds but as the law is so strict on polling day changes are needed

  • Hard News: Vision and dumbassery,

Was Snowden live or was it a video, not that alters the substance of what he said

  • Hard News: Didn't see that coming, in reply to Sofie Bribiesca,

Well if that is true Sofie
Where are the leaks of Miss Clark's emails calling West Coast voters " Inbred ferals" or from the present Labour Leader to his favourite lawyer?

I think the Left should think about whose private stuff ends up in public before playing the dirty politics card
As the facts do not back them up so far

  • Hard News: Didn't see that coming, in reply to A S,

Well, as we now know private emails can be hacked and revealed if it is in the "public interest" especially if they are Right wing ones though I note Russell to his credit was unhappy with the release of stuff about Slater's mother

But imagine the uproar if emails from a real reporter became public and if it was someone on the Left, well I give you Andrea Vance being tracked through Parliment

  • Hard News: Didn't see that coming,

Interesting, on the Left we have people joining dots every which way
But when Dot Com gets up on the stage and admits he hacked the German PM and hates NZ''s PM that's not news because Russell knows DC is not the hacker
And interestingly Pam's rant seems to indicate she has access to as yet unreleased emails ie she knows which journalists were talking to whaleboy
    Hmm lots of dots there

  • Hard News: In The Green Room,

I presume when you say " or even voter" that means you do vote but not (so far) for the Greens

  • Hard News: Dirty Politics,

So it is terrible that Whaleboy hacked the Labour Party computer (who claimed at the time the door was left wide open ) but ok if Hager uses material to write a book for profit hacked illegally from the Whale

Really struggling to get my head around this

Of course if the PM department provided WB with the material that is very different

  • Hard News: Not doing justice,

It must be depressing for those who graft away because they believe in the cause , especially as Labour was having a good week
I note Greg Presland was in a position to know what was written, pity he didn't take down the comments
On the other hand David Cuncliffe's handling was almost perfect, no pussyfooting around, straight from the John Key hand book

We went the vacuum tube way a couple of years ago when upgrading bathrooms and water system, it is great. A friend who put in a wet back as well has not paid a heating bill since
There is talk that electricity prices may fall but that is not the way of the world
