The @CampbellLive tweet last night making it clear the debate was a news and current affairs gig and that Campbell Live had no input into the selection of panelists was interesting.
Campbell also questioned if Henry was biased in his appraisal, which he denied. but yeah t'was rather obvious. Who was the woman on the Panel?

But Radio NZ has been counting the number of times he has turned down interview requests on Morning Report. And its website reveals that National declined to answer any of the 100-plus written questions...

Yes Jackie, knowing t'other half you'll understand how he spent time last night informing people of their ignorance when comments admiring Key came up. Of course the extremely wealthy were the first to be educated. I on the other hand,drank said wealthy's wine.
So many say " oh he seems like such a lovely man." One person who I have a lot of time for added " I think he has integrity" I gulped and said " No, he doesn't, what do you like about him? " And she couldn't actually answer past that. This from someone in Health. She didn't equate any of her major problems at the Hospital to Brand Key. At least another up there is quite vocal about her dislike for Brand Key.I notice they don't mention National at all. It's all about Johnny boy. Yuk yuk yuk.
As for MMP and alternatives, I reckon the STV box will get a tick because after MMP those who don't know them will see TV and go "Oh I watch TV, that will do". -
I actually watched that live at the time and it was total delayed confusion. Annette King was the only one expecting the guy to jump. The confusion seemed like a surreal situation in slow motion. The guy was destitute. Slightly deranged or not, I understood he was at his wits end. That doesn't really need to be used for advantage of anything. That was a deeply disturbing situation. John Key was not thinking of any thing other than his own selfish uninformed view that it is all about him, but the throat slit delivery to Labour was so abhorrent, the footage should not be delivered for anyones advantage. It was an attempt at suicide. It was Phil Goff who settled the House. It was a realisation that National never cares. It was really upsetting. It's not an advantage for any Party. It was deeply sad.

My problem is , nobody wants to rock the boat for fear of hurting fragile feelings, then the whole South Island has endured lots of turmoil and how do you shake the people any more than already experienced.The sadest thing is only when, Nact fucks over the people, will there be a change. I ,having been born in Christchurch, think my family there are conservative. They think I am alternative. I live in peace and I know it’s because I don’t rely on this Government. -
