"He broke her back in four places."
Yeah, I didn't know that when I wrote the above.

I don't know the legal issues here, but see at as possibly better than our legal system.
From Veitch they sat down and have talked, she received more money than any court settlement would bring, & when pushed he made what IMHO was a heartfelt statement.

Tony Veitch has fallen on his sword and done everything the Womens Refuge asked of him last night on TV.
I do respect this act of contrition, it follows 100K payment.
I'm interested in how this came to light the day of his new TV series.

"I also noted the almost-too-perfect ..."
Especially considering this was supposed to be after work drinks. To get that liquored up to act the fool & keep instep is impossible for a whole office, moi however.

I used to work with someone who thought she was psychic. When she told us, she some how didn't foresee the laughter this would bring, no-one was surprised that she believed this though.

What's the issue with an ad not being real?
That was a bit of an issue with the drink drive ad and the guy got a conviction for drink driving. The issue came from his contractual obligations not to.
And what's the issue over the price? Is someone getting a free phone at Campbells TV show cause they're high but not too much - possing has it's price.

Any market reluctance to buying Steinlarger by the Crate, and using reuseable bottles?
If there are any quality issues, it may be an oppitunity for Steinie to launch a new brand "Steinlarger Green" and catch the student market & middleaged-henpecked-by-ecokids market too.
Steinlarger I would appreciate payment in beer for this brilliance.

"Is this what the economists call a perverse incentive?"
Of all the people here I thought you'ld know that ;)
The loss to stores is the lost of human traffic advertising.
Who doesn't know the red squashed cardboard box in the car park is from KFC, or the yellow bag in the gutter is from Pak N Save. -
