Rich - well those lab safety demonstrations would be enhanced by bits of glass shrapnel appearing to fly over your shoulder - otherwise 3D video for schools - meh

While I didn't go to CES this year I have friends who did ... first of all CES where they were touting all the 3D TVs is not a porn convention .... but every year across town the porn industry does have a show always at the same week, I guess it helps get the punters in ....
My friends who went (and who don't do 3D TV or porn, as far as I know) tell me that the 3d TVs cause massive headaches - at least wandering the show floors and looking at them did - they didn't say anything about the porn

Funny, how do you discreetly view art at the public art gallery?
I believe a docent provides a paper bag with eye holes and an old mac at the door - the more fastidious may prefer to bring their own macs

actually I think the sign says:
"Dunedin: REDUCE SPEED"

Yeah my son was due in 'March' too, sometime near the end - he has a mid feb birth date .... be prepared (keep a loaded boy scout in your purse) .... we didn't buy anything until the baby shower (which happened after) - don't end up having to do what I had to do which was to wander panicked thru a baby shop buying anything that looked vaguely useful

oh come on where's the love? - to be fair we've had an awful summer so far - but then summer doesn't start until Feb right?
Our sea has icebergs in it what do you expect - from my office I can see Antarctica - or could if there wasn't a horizon in the way
-
I guess it's a good thing they don't let fathers do circumcisions ....
-
"sub antarctic island holiday" - well come one down to Dunedin - that just about describes our 'summer' so far
-
I'm not sure that that whine is exactly soothing - more puts your teeth on edge ....

Giovanni: we had roughly the opposite experience - several weeks of videos of births - basically to get us past the scariness I guess - then my son started to come 5 weeks early, we missed the 2 classes on breathing and actually giving birth - a friend stopped by and gave us a quick recap just before we needed it - then we got to bring him to the classes on how to look after the kid afterwards, by then we'd pretty much figured it out
