Hard News: So long, and thanks for all…, in reply to
I think she’s immensely capable, and genuine. But she’s just turned 33 and has yet to win an electorate seat or be a minister.
Absolutely this! Big ask for anyone. The public throw her name around quite alot. I hasn't heard her say she wants it ever. Give her a chance to live a little

but not sufficient for a discussion about who can do the job right now. Yet we have had pages about it.
I think it does show that people are keen that it works and great there are many choices that are worthy . Still Keir Leslie and Stephen Judd, have a great time being part of the process and great bunch of people to choose from. Hope the Party soars. I agree with Sacha ,and maybe give them a chance to figure it out .That's a job. Give a little support eh? Let's get rid of Nactional.

I just don’t understand what the GCHQ thought they were achieving.
Scare tactics. Be very afraid!!
Some of the speeches in opposition to the bill were great I thought .My eleventh hour attempt email to turn Dunne got a response in minutes with the patronising " I should in no way connect his privacy breaches with Vance to this bill. Then I got the sporting analogy.Apparently the connection was something to do with the All Blacks and the colours they don't wear ??? He claimed it was only after he got the amendments making it better that he was able to. I had suggested his Party reinstated the day before seemed ever so timely .Because his response was so fast I of course had to send another email. I found his rugby analogy insulting and his amendments meant diddly squat for a bad piece of legislation and that all the experts that had come out against this bill deserved more than what Key had given . Dunne said " under NO circumstances would he support the Bill". That makes him a LIAR. -

Hello there Sofie! Nice to see you posting again :
I'm not around much and although I possess lappy, time is my limited commodity. Sometimes I get a glimpse of all yous and your fantastic stuff but frankly most times I'm at the red wine stage of winding down. It's not overly easy pioneering again ;)
I'm around (should you feel afraid)but concentrating on other stuff. My back is fucked up at the mo. Pain is an experience all in itself :)
They have pills you know?
Also we are inventing concepts along with building and tests are proving agreeable.
I gotta do 4 hrs drive at 9am .I should rest. Haere rā . xx -

This is going to be our intensive-ish food-growing area,
Hit the Kale. Good nutrients and then at least if the pups take charge, they will be well nourished. If you grow enough they could scruff up their own patch, alleviating their personal needs and eliminating your despair. I’m going to try a companion planting using the bush as my companion and protector. Don’t ask me how but it will happen. I also do not need to grow much . I’m surrounded by very generous neighbours and our contribution is now excellent beer . So enough to make pickles, relish, sauces etc and some basics should work. Remember Kale is your friend ;)
Funny, I am a rabbit ( Proud Scum) just burst across my TV screen. :)) Mainstream advertising now. "I've got to have it"....... Excellent! -

My, what big um, arms, you have.
:)
Like she wants a boxing ,match.:)This one is just hanging around. They actually have a good nod on during the day but the Puriri Moth is due in Dec so what’s it doing here now I ponder? We left the door open one night, light on ( oh the luxury of solar power :) and 15 of them wore themselves out. 1 got drunk on red wine. I counted them the next morning. 16. they hung out for the morning then 10 gone just like that. Fascinating stuff for me anyhow.

Here is Stella with her punk rock cone of silence. She found the Victorian ruffle just a tad too British so proceeded to crash into anything pogoing from one of my legs to one of t’others. She actually enjoyed it to our surprise and to my gratefulness of the hole in her leg closing up.
And here is Stella with her new one on after the Vet felt another $15 was warranted.

“We” are doing this because we are stupid and got caught doesn’t cut it
What I think their headspace for it may well be. “So, you think we cant do what we want. You cant tell us we cant, we’ll just change the law so we can. So we won nahnananana”
No, it is stupid that tinkering with highly sensitive law as if it just changing the colour of the ambulances and treating anyone with expertise or joe public with dismissive disdain once again shows us the disregard for our democracy that our forefathers , ancestors, whichever you can think of before us have worked tirelessly to retain our freedoms that I don’t wish to part with.
I recall several, “urgent” laws and legislation changes that have been eroding our human rights and our democracy. All designed to keep the average kiwi subservient meanwhile lining the pockets of a few. Disgusting. Also, WTF! PETER DUNNE? You of all politicians at the mo should be against this stupid law! He's pathetic after all the Vance intimidation.
