Full circle, eh?
What was the stance on minors back then? It seems to me that this has never been satisfactorily addressed.
Even now , it is still possible to ask , quite reasonably, how is this going to work for the non-adult, who seem to be the only at-risk group.
I am assuming that the question of substance abuse by those with mental issues is another topic altogether. Or is it? -

I'm reminded of a discussion with Tom Bestor of the Massey Philosophy dept [in the latter half of last century :-) ] as to whether the Philosophy Department should simply close up shop and move over to the Psychology Department where the topic might be Semantics and Psycho-linguistics.

So the suggestion that the “moderates ” (U.S.-backed) have a non-aggression pact with ISIS is misleading, at best.” The US has come to the defense or has given aid to three rather unlikely groups in the past few weeks.

Ergo , U.S.- backed “rebels ” , trying to overthrow the Syrian government, are not terrorists?

A small slip -up at RNZ this morning : The ISIS/ISIL/Daesh " terrorists " trying to overthrow the Syrian governemnt were referred to as U.S. - backed "rebels".
Fake news , surely.?

The process looks to be “par for the course”.
My strategy was to refuse to engage at any level, and when the council started the media campaign against me , I again ignored it, figuring that "pig wrestling ” was ill advised .
It took ten years for the council to give up, but they went away after it was revealed that they had been devious all along in dealing with the affected neighbours , telling them that resistance was useless because I had already agreed to the proposal. -
I wondered about the legal status of the land which the pipeline crossed, having recently resisted attempts by the local council to site a lake , and then more recently a cycleway on our farm.
