Hopefully, fixing this will become an election issue. What I found interesting about the injustice of the decision last year was it was one time that disability crossed over into the legal or economic area, so more people took notice (however briefly). Andrew Geddis wrote several posts and articles which probably got to a larger audience than ever usually take notice of 'disability'.

Labour’s trouble is much deeper than any lack of talent. I think it’s just an old, worn out idea
Then how to explain Tamati Coffey and the youth revival thing he is doing in Rotorua?

I would like to know the individual questions, too. Autism is still mainly in the big 'other' category, which isn't very helpful but there might be something more to come. But what is really interesting is the estimate of 2% of the population with intellectual disability (as they classify it). That means c90,000 people up from early estimates of 30-50,000.

I have a friend who faces ongoing harassment as the man she testified against and who was subsequently convicted of serious sexual offences, won permanent name suppression (because he came from a powerful family, as far as I can tell). But if a journalist wrote a book about the case and talked to people who had more evidence the person convicted could access all the sources, and continue his campaign of intimidation, under protection of the law .
Is this what this judgement means? if so that seems really unjust. -
I'm waiting to hear what Mike Williams has to say about this as he was a very hands on Party president at the time and knew the wealthier donors (there weren't many) personally. He would have certainly known about Liu if this is true, but has previously said he had never heard of him.

By the way love that latest story idea with the black and white socks.
