  • Hard News: Misconnection,

And for all you know, the Herald could have been desperately trying to find anyone who'd say something nasty about Key and they just couldn't find 'em. Not some sinister conspiracy.

    *lol*

  • Hard News: Misconnection,

Re Winston - this may not be a particularly popular position, but I'm kinda siding with him on this one.

As much as it pains me,I am in agreement with you. Peters' lawyer was quite clear this morning on Morning Report that he hadn't told Peters of the donation and indeed this was the first instance he had ever told anyone he works for of the source of a donation.

I note too that one Rex Widerstrom has claimed on Kiwiblog that Peters does know who donates to his 'fighting fund' and has provided evidence of such to an unnamed reporter.

    *sigh*

  • Hard News: This whole, glorious trainwreck,

A media7 show on the bottom-dwelling wingnut right-wing bloggers would be entertaining and probably get an audience...

They prolly are the same folk who lack the patience to hold on for the radio talk back thingy,Peter and have recourse to teh interweb.

And any Media7 show on that would be bound to show some balance and find the other side of the political blogging coin,I'm sure.* looks around*...

Yes ,I read that stuff from Whaleoil the other day...and on some mirror site he has set up. Kinda wondered what I had walked into.

How much time does all his posting etc take up? When does it begin to take over?

Oooh, it appears that romance isn't quite dead...yet.

One manufacturer's FAQs include this :

Can I use a compact fluorescent light bulb with a dimmer switch?

To use a compact fluorescent bulb on a dimmer switch, you must buy a bulb that's specifically made to work with dimmers (check the package). GE makes a dimming compact fluorescent light bulb (called the Energy Smart Dimming Spirals®) that is specially designed for use with dimming switches. We don't recommend using regular compact fluorescent bulbs with dimming switches, since this can shorten bulb life. (Using a regular compact fluorescent bulb with a dimmer will also nullify the bulb's warranty.)

Aaah just wait until Bob is at kindy. Cheese rolls are the fundraiser of choice and you will either spend hours making the wee beasties or months eating them. Your freezer ( or just anywhere outside, this time of year) will have a dedicated space for them. Don't confuse them with mousetraps though...
