Hmmm...only stuff through the letter box this election so far is a 'thanks for all the memories' letter from Benson-Pope.
He regrets he is not able to continue as a member of Parliament. "That is, as you know, not my choice".

And whatever way it goes, I think we're due some strong public inquiry on lobbying practices in the racing and fishing industries, no matter who it embarrasses.
A strong inquiry into ALL lobbying practices would be in order. Some nice ,bright sunlight on these back room activites would benefit all round.
But I think the 'embarrassment' would put paid to any such antiseptic activity.

Not to me - they're associated by deed now in terms of their actions in the Priviledges Committee and the House. I thought it was all well played by Labour up until those points....
Such as lobbying members of the Committee?
Perhaps Parliamentarians have a different sense of morality
MPs are free to lobby each other, even over parliamentary privilege matters. Parliament's Clerk of the House, Mary Harris, said Mr Horomia, in her opinion, had done nothing wrong.

I have to admit to being more picky over the programmes and find myself wandering away from NatRad somewhat over the weekends these days.
I seem to tune in to Radio Live...even with ads...
I'm not sure if it is the format, the programmes or the announcers.Or just me...

Must admit to being a little bit sick of it.
Ditto.
I too wonder who is orchestrating all of this. The NZFirst parliamentary members must be feeling kinda sick and be updating their c.v's...

I think my one qualm about the fairness of the whole business is wondering how it would play out if the media demanded every other party prove their anonymous donations went to the right place.
Zackerly Lyndon. I can't help but feel that the respective parties are pointing with one hand and have fingers crossed behind their backs with the other hand.

In fact, all the best meals I had in England were curries of one sort or another; the "traditional" food was crap.
Indeed Lucy. I seem to remember reading an article a while back which mentioned that while the traditional fish and chips was still very popular,Chicken Tika Masala was even more so!
The Empire strikes back...

I suggest that its democratization of coffee opened access to gourmet coffee for the rabble, not the shitty coffee itself.
Aaaah...'twas Starbucks that gave us the long black and the flat white eh...
For those lovers of pork, who are south of the border...

One totally geeky point.
Be as geeky as it takes,Russell. Our sky hd is to be installed in a couple of weeks and it can only be of assistance if you adivise us of ,and smooth, the process.
Great timing for the installation too! Enjoy the new toy...
