We acquired the Mount Cook Airlines catamaran, at $1 per kg
Bargain! I am however confused. The latest boat pic. Is that the Tiger Lily or what is her name ?. Lovely photo too.

Hard News: Gower Speaks, in reply to
it’s a shame that both TVNZ and Fairfax have so far completely ignored the entire thing.
Plus I only saw one article in Herald about the PM's view on it. He thinks its fine of course.TV3 seem to be covering it. Weird.

But (I think) the sensible thing for Labour to do in this situation would be to say to the Greens ‘We’ll think about it. Maybe closer to the election. Let’s keep talking.’
Sounds like they already did say that.
From Audrey Young in the Herald
Mr Cunliffe told the Herald tonight he envisaged that Labour would try to negotiate a formal coalition agreement with the Greens after the election,
"The Labour Party will be the core of the incoming Government working co-operatively with the Green Party who are our longstanding friends.

Also a concrete alignment might appear to split Labour internally as well and it's been shown to fuel media and the Govt.
As a Labour voter , I can see the diverse group that makes up the Party being good enough to accept that a coalition can happen with the Greens after Sept20 but could cause factions now and I can see how NZF could accept the Greens are part of that too. Why is it that everyone says NZF cannot make deals about the Greens but can make deals about anyone else. To suggest past form wont allow it when frankly they have shown they can with other Parties. If Peters is such a fox he can do a deal with the Greens. Why is that impossible to believe? Isn't that what MMP is all about. -

if you don’t mind.
People can speculate all they like, but I think it would be better if MSM didn't and actually report how it is.

Yes, usually. And like I said, that's what everyone was doing just last week. I know it's equally traditional to heap scorn on Labour for whatever, but I'm frankly not seeing it here.
And isn't the whole "tea Party" thang that Key introduced with Act ,just the sort of thing that pissed us off last time. Dodgy deals look like dodgy deals, which don't please everyone. By staying true to themselves with Cunliffe's announcing after the Election ,they can see what cards are on the table, seems like sensible politics to me.
Trouble is nobody but RB seems to hear what is actually said. Others seem to make it up on the hoof. -

I am not sure but one idea is steel and one is wood. Guess we have to wait and see.
I get to be in charge of colour, staining and painting. I've managed to paint the house and stain the ceilings. The interior is waiting until the dust settles but one bedroom is finished.
