Everyone’s got to lift their game and remember elections come and go, bad policy arguments linger like a bad smell.
Hey! that was my response.Plus I did suggest she should get her facts straight. Actually, could you really imagine National organising a gang -bang in a brothel? ..Nope I cant. ;)

It’s great what you’ve achieved, David, but IMHO you should cut back on the obsession.
Mind chatter does not allow these types to scale back. That is why man invented Beer or so I'm told.
David, have you got the brewery up and running? Been very helpful for us. One brewery for builders help doth make. One brewery for many hands doth help ;) -

Last night some fellow seemed to be making a house out of compacted cow poo,
It's called a cob house Geoff! Cob! straw and mud. Bloddy cheap...... ;) and sorry but Grand Designs shits all over Living Canal. I'm quite enjoying The Art of the Architect too.
Bearing in mind that t'other as we type is still "finishing" our house. He has taken to a working day of,Coffee, 4 hours on, beer.
Exclnt work David, grumpy , yes, comes with the territory. I think I'm a very understanding partner in our journey. It is best that we haven't heard from you, that way we still care if you live or not as I sometimes feel. I mean really. Can you explain why every single tread in our spiralling staircase has forms and degrees and blah blah blah...... :) -

The other alternative is even more appalling and a wee bit sinister – because she’s just lied to people who, however misguided on this policy question they might be, deserve better.
So I asked the Associate Spokesperson for Health, Iain Lees Galloway,in Labour about this because I felt it easily becomes conjecture and he's better a person (cos he sits in Parliament) to address my query.
Turns out because it was rushed legislation, because select committee had a third of the usual time allocated, because it could have been better to have consulted with Councils for everyone's benefit, it is messy legislation and they think it can be tidied up. With that, of course they support regulation over prohibition and continue to support it. Soper could handle this better. Perception is otherwise. -

.these products are not as benign as comments here suggest.
These products and others affect people differently. There is no blanket effect for humans because we are all different. Yes ,for some ,they stink and others seem to like and handle them. That is why evidence helps and hysteria doesn't . That much is simple to understand surely? Unfortunately, Cannabis gets a hard rap, and consequently legal highs have emerged . Common sense has not prevailed for Cannabis. Go figure. In my opinion.

I think the "knee jerk " reactions the Media at large tend to serve the opposition Parties could be cause to not engage in healthy debate. Brash showed that to his and Act's detriment. I will hope that it is simmering until after the Election and then maybe a member's bill could come forward. We live in times of anything happening (Tau announced his retirement today!)
Keep up your good work there Pete I appreciate it.
Can I just say, the young guy in the news on the legal highs, now dealing with retribution (but cant find that) is imo crying out for help. His initial story said help. People with addiction actually want to give up many times but often have noone to tell them "I'll help you, you can do it" The stopping can be the easy part . What one replaces it with can be the hardest part. You need to change friends ,environment, work. It is a bigger head shift than often assumed. " Just go to rehab" isn't the complete answer. One really needs support that sticks with them. Rehabs have buddies for this purpose as does AA but just one close friend who is always close, inclusive, is hard to find. You have probably alienated all of those who cared. Even more so in co dependant relationships Confidence is way down the rabbit hole and if we look closely, the drugs and alcohol help disguise that, so coming out the flip side requires getting that back ten fold. Back to where you were at the beginning is just that ,the beginning again.

And another one bites the dust
Going into caucus this morning Key said: "He's a colourful character. We've enjoyed having him in caucus but it makes sense for him at this time to step down."
Pushed? Much?
