David Just be careful laddie. When the chips are down, you are committed to a be a victim of revenge. Remember that while you sleep the chippies will be plotting because as you know, "They Walk by Night!"

"I do sometime feel that there are a lot of sick people who need to harden up a bit."
Thankyou Dr Rickai. You analysis of those terrible bludging sick people and those malingering invalids is so helpful. Your next step will be to tip them out on the street and we the people can hurry them along with the toe of the boot. -
And anyway Keith was just asking a question (s) inviting a balanced response rather pushing a point of view. So great Post Keith.

I thought that the President of Iraq had recently expressed a wish that the USA should leave? Not a direction of course and anyway Iraq couldn't/wouldn't dare. They would not let him even though it is a democracy.

Helicopters in Iraq can be thought of as frequent fliers. Therefore one would not even bother to look up let alone run for cover. It is reported also that many Iraquis carry guns for self-protection whereas in the USA of course no people would walk around armed. That would be too provocative.

The Iraqi war was about oil but more importantly it was about having a permanent strategic position in the Middle East. Remember that America lost the War when in the 80's they armed and supported Iraq in the USA war against Iran - until they lost. Unfinished business?

The trouble is that McVicar has a simple set of solutions which reflect the simple beliefs of a large section of the community and this support is a reason why successive governments have increased sentencing. My neighbour is a good Christian man - until he talks about punishment.
The fewer than a hundred really dangerous people are well locked up. The other 7,900 should be helped, rehabilitated, taught to read, taught a job and so on. Somehow the SST makes it sound as though everyone in prison is one of the 100. -
You could bring in the role that Innovative Science could play: More concentrated P. Packaging companies. Advertising dollars to rescue TVNZ. And just imagine how quickly the Pee Party could rout all those stick in the mud politicians who mutter the negatives. 2011: The Pee Party lead by Brownlie and Bennet holds a 98% majority!
A very clever, funny, sad piece of writing Keith. -
Yes Ian. We have been sending strange messages by bouncing them off Pluto and aiming them to excite Lockwood. ‘’
