There is no need to upload on YouTube. TVNZ are putting EML online in full.

I'm just going to have a quiet chuckle here.

Uploading on YouTube hooks you into a dynamic you don't get from streaming off your corporate site, but it's still a good move.
Tip for Mac users. If you use the Flip4Mac components and plugin to view the TVNZ clips you can download them. When, of course, they have finally loaded ...

I take back everything I said about the Friday night slot being a good idea.
It's a stupid idea, maybe Saturday morning would be better. After all EML does have cartoons.

Thanks to the torrent guys at Diwana.org, I've been able to catch this along with Pulp Sport and some other kiwi gems. I must say this show didn't grab me. It reminded me in some ways of Brasseye (presumably this was shown in NZ? but I don't know).
The cartoon segments made me cringe...
I'll watch a couple more episodes though, it shows promise.
Thanks for the tip about TVNZ hosting it.

Jeremy Wells is Christopher Morris. It's basically The Day Today for New Zealanders, but it doesn't usually go to the quite absurd extremes (Cake? Bomb dogs?) and focuses more on the minutae of whatever's flavour of the week in the New Zealand news.
It has its good shows and its bad shows like every straight-faced comedy show, so it's worth trying a few episodes (particularly from the first season) on for size.
(The "F*ck News" one stands out in my mind as a brilliant one, mainly because...well, yeah.)

I'm sorry, but Anal Mana was by far the best moment in New Zealand television since the dead air between Paul Holmes from Aramoana to Judy Bailey in the studio when neither of them had anything to say except that the gunman was "somewhere down there". Or maybe the Goftas.

Just like everything else TVNZ.co.nz does the joy lasts about three weeks and then nothing...

Jeremy Wells is Christopher Morris.
It definitely reminds me of Brasseye, and also a little of Nathan Barley (which, for anyone who hasn't seen it, is definitely worth tracking down).

Yay!
This week's episode is up!
Has anyone seen The Freedom Flat doco...Is it worth a click?
-
...er, kind of.
The funny thing is I was at an ante natal class on Staurday and was talking to a couple about the 'celebrity baby' thing on EML.
They thought it was real.LOL

Word up. I got the DVD off Amazon.co.uk (it works with region 4), and it's brilliant. If you like the Mighty Boosh, it stars Julian Barratt, and all is well.
