  • Megan Wegan,

I think it should be on record that I am _not_ "Megan".

    I mean, I don't even know a Richmond.

  • Emma Hart, in reply to Megan Wegan,

This is true. Megan is not "Megan". At no point does "Megan" get kicked out of any bars.

No, srsly, Megan isn't "Megan". But yous all knew that.

  • Russell Brown,

Just FYI: work on the video of Emma reading PA Story is progressing nicely. I'll try and have it up on Vimeo on Friday.

There'll also be video of David H's extraordinary presentation, and a general mash-up of the evening.

Yay, because I was in the wings for David's, and have only seen it from side-on. And I was trying really hard not to laugh too hard in case I distracted him.

Also, I would like it to be generally understood, without me having to come anywhere near explaining it, why [redacted] now reminds me of Murray McCully.

If you want to preserve it for posterity, you can send it to the National Library through its web deposit tool.

    Well done to all involved.

The story is blocked at work for "Adult/mature content", which surprises me. Sure, I expect it to be filthy, but mature?

Yeah. Not a fucking hope. No mature content whatsoever.

Hart's Law states that any post by Emma will, at some point in time following the initial post, be blocked by the work firewall.

Collary number 1 to Hart's Law states that this may occur concurrently with the initial posting.

I am so fucking proud of this.

I suppose I should have added the content warning I used on the night ("Public Address is a responsible broadcaster. This story contains the following words:") but that was just for the about a third of it I read then, and I'd have to go redo the whole thing.

Strong Language. Sexual Material - the filthier your mind, the more sexual material. Near-toxic levels of manatee puns.

Treat mine as if they're under a Creative Commons license. Well, more common than creative, and with plenty of license, but you get the idea.

I'll admit, I snorted at that line. I was still getting over the hurt of Tamsin calling "Megan" a drunken slapper, though.
