While Govt propaganda gets six-figure NZ On Air subsidies courtesy of con- NEC-tions.
OK, I'm only going to say this this once. Other blogs we shall not name may not give a shit about publishing defamatory comments. I do. A lot.
Please consider whether you want to push this any further, and adjust course accordingly.

No. Did it involve a greased pole?
Oh, bugger. I mixed her up with Liz Shaw. Although there is a vid on youtube of Lewis pole-dancing at an Aussie sexpo and falling and breaking her nose.
Shaw auditioned for NZ Idol and was rejected, and lost her shit.

No, that honour fell to Vlad the Impaler. Now there's a TV show, "Impale a Celebrity" we could include MPs.

Mediawatch covered this today here. Would have appreciated a hat-tip, but my ego will survive. :)

36 minute show, listening options.

merc,
I listened to it all, what a tangled web. Mediawatch are very brave to ask those questions in that obviously dysfunctional political environment.
I could say more...but I wont. -
I thought Jane Wrightson sounded completely arrogant and out of touch.

To be fair, I'm not sure how useful it is to blame the monkey when it's the organ grinder giving you the headache.

Liz Shaw writes policy on the hoof very well - "I had fun, phuck you".

You know what? I'm really looking forward to NZ's Got Talent. NZ Idol may be an easy target, but while none of the contestants are massive pop stars like Kelly Clarkson, Idol did give them a foot in the door, leading to good work in the entertainment industry. Likewise, the five women who were the original Popstars contestants are now all have good careers in the industry.
NZ's Got Talent will be its own thing. It will give a leg up to some talented New Zealanders, and - just like Popstars and NZ Idol - it will be a thoroughly enjoyable series to watch.
