Twin Piques...
I'm looking forward to spending some of the upcoming downtime exploring a couple of sites that have piqued my interest recently - both are 'idea orphanages' of sorts, a concept that resonates for me.and
ooops, sorry, I keep forgetting this is an image thread
but surely, imagination trumps pixelation?
;- )I'll get my photon net out tomorrow.

Mayanother day dawn – call off the HazTechs!
interesting links
I find What Really Happened a good Random Factory for thought provocation, as well…
this was their, THOUGHT FOR THE DAY! today:"What history truly records is the inherent irresponsibility of all despotisms and the almost inevitable corruption of all forms of government that are not subject to the control of the people …” – Brazilian church statement
sounds like New Zealand! Definitely Christchurch…
and I borrowed the picture above from there (WRH) as well…

This was Red Beach today …
I spent a lot of time at Red Beach in my teenage years. This new photo thread to PAS is making me very homesick.
felt really pleased with this picture
I’m really impressed by the in focus/out of focus effect. I suspect that’s something my phone won’t do… or if it did, I’d not correctly assign subjects.
That’s how you know it’s a dog beach.
Which beach is it Jackie? I particularly like beaches with creeks/lagoons that feed into them.
Great evening light
Stunning light Nora, I've only just worked out that the light before a storm creates lovely contrasts (I'm not terribly visual, it had to be very directly shown/explained to me)... with hope, there's a storm forecast for Sydney tonight... I'll post any efforts of interest.

It's Kakamatua, Paul. Near Cornwallis.

I'm quite lucky to have this just behind my back fence. This is my first summer in this house. The birdsong an the stream make it quite tranquil in my backyard.

I'm gonna have to come down and sample one of these one day. Awesome Gareth. Merry old time indeed!
