I got one answer... the Moana "You're Welcome" singer. The rest I felt like I should know at least a few... but I didn't.

Imagine if Bill English and the rest of his colleagues were tested regularly to see if he’d consumed alcohol in the last month?
Alcohol is processed out of the system by your liver relatively quickly and effectively. Other substances stay longer and that is why the testing can pick it up later on. It is the difference between "Are you a drug user? " and "Are you currently under the influence?"

I don't generally identify as Maori, but I do have a great-great-grandmother on my father's side who was. Due to the very broad and loose definition of "Maori" in the opening section of the act, I am therefore subject to this legislation.
I'm pretty white-bread of appearance due to a few generations of dilution and I'm not sure a Maori Warden would be able to tell just by looking at my mug that they can eject me from a "hotel" or take my car keys should I become unruly.
Perhaps I should I have something tattooed on my arm or wear some sort of symbol (an armband might work) to help these authorities know they have jurisdiction over me? Should I do the same thing for my young children now? ... or do I wait until they turn eighteen? -

Ok. I give up. What is the creature hidden in the stereogram? I can see it has two legs but the rest is unclear. It looks a bit like a Kiwi with beak down to the left, looking for insects, but with a stoat sticking out of its butt (going up to the right).
...or is it a mutant kangaroo? ...or a T-Rex?

Shine on you crazy dire man
Dire Straits? More likely Syd Barrett of early Pink Floyd fame (infamy?)

These reviews while being only peripherally relevant are eye-wateringly inappropriate. I’m sure Paul B. will identify.

Totalizer or Totalisator? ....or have I missed the punchline? There is probably a truss-flange involved somewhere.

I used to enjoy our primary school religious instruction. Not because of any particular religious leanings but the nice man who did the talking (Mr. Le Vac - no idea of denomination) did the most awesome chalk blackboard illustrations of his bible stories. Remember blackboards? Like Whyteboards, but with dust...
I'm sure my love of cartoon doodling was heavily influenced by his works (rather than His works...)
I remain happily atheist to this day but still look back fondly on the RI as "Awesome-Illustrated-Story-Time" rather than any attempt to indoctrinate me into any particular Christian faith...

Perhaps you still need an “Alison” in your online life…? :-)
...or was that some sort of ironic sub-text thingee?
