I didn't even bother hashtagging, figured *everyone* would know what I was taking about.

  • Up Front: Outraged of Sockburn,

The people running the official Outrageous Fortune Twitter account were beside themselves, although I think they may have been drinking.

It would be unprofessional not to frankly.

intricacy of the pleating and how it moved

Yeah it was amazing if you got a chance to look at the detailing.

That's why the wooden dress won because it looked great close up and also from a distance.

Yes, a simple and kind of banal thing really but it is a really important aspect of WoW. So the wooden dress was a clear winner.

  • Hard News: Invasion of the pagan matrons,

I appreciate the WoW entries that are less costume-like and more haute couture art that can be *moved* in. The garments need to work with the performative nature of the show; grab attention in what can be a very busy show visually, and have a strong conceptual element that translates well but is not too literal.

So to my taste the entry by Wellingtonians Hayley and Fiona that won the 2009 Runner Up Supreme WOW Award & Winner Creative Excellence Section - Fold was outstanding.

    It is called Second Skin.

If political violence is a crime, POINTLESS violence is surely a worse crime!

    Hell yes.

Especially looking at the anti-terrorist raids and who got caught up in them here in this country.

  • Hard News: Undie Wankers,

I think I see more evidence of genuine public awareness of green/sustainability issues in Germany and Denmark than I do in New Zealand.

German and Danish people that I know pull no punches when it comes to how they perceive our clean green image. Essentially they call "bullshit" on that one.
