Apparently if we draw wth Paraguay by the same amount as Slovakia draws with Italy then it will come down to a coin toss between us and Italy!
I'm going to go out on a limb,
Paraguay 1- NZ 1
Italy 0 - Slovakia 0NZ progresses.....

I think football is far more setup for a major upset than Rugby. In saying that GO ALL WHITES!!
My prediction though it 2-0 Italy. I just hope we don;t get done by more than Aussie did against Germany. Us kiwis have a perverse way of thinking don't we? :) -

I'm picking Germany. We can nail England on penalties. Germany will be a tall order, but anything can happen on the day...

@Simon: yeah I think Brazil will be where we really have to knuckle down and try hard to win. Do that and the cup's as good as ours.

The horrific descriptions of what Colin Meads used to do to people at the bottom of rucks have always made me wonder why he's so revered
I would add this to that as well:
"1 Sir Colin Meads, former All Black: Do you think you are doing too much for the Maori people? Is it just to keep their votes?"
In my completely non-expert opinion I didn't think that the tackle this morning deserved anything more than a yellow card, but imho, he got just reward for his work against NZ.
Was definitely not a red card, but who cares he deserved it. Gets a one match ban for his troubles also.
