Time to sit up and take notice of the rise of Cenk Uygur, the TYT network and the Justice Democrats. There is hope yet for America!
Something revolutionary is sorely needed.
Yet another thing Americans need to talk about! Nancy Pelosi is 78. Maxine Waters is in her 80s. The US Congress resembles the cadaverous ruling committee of the moribund Soviet Union, I bet the division lobbies smell like boiled cabbage.
Sunday on TVNZ had a piece yesterday on the working poor in NZ. Carmel Sepuloni was interviewed;
After that there was another piece where Julie Anne Genter was interviewed.
What struck me was how our two politicians were made up to the max for their interviews - whereas none of the working poor folks they were there to represent had any make-up on at all. Made me think.

Good governance needs strong foundation?
Blow it up! nah not till they have returned us to the 1950's. Tho' they wont risk upsetting Russia
Trump is largely the inevitable end result of a failure by the Obama folks (and proceeding administations) to deliver real improvement for the majority of middle class, and lower Americans. When the system fails the politicians will start beating the drums.

In this instance it was the perception of a failed system, which was manufactured and propagated using computers as tools. The majority of the middle and lower class Americans are signed up to Twitter, Facebook and or Instagram. Those are not bastions of creative thinking, not really. So lots of people allowed themselves to be by the nose. It’s an extension of how the television machine was used for propaganda.

Not really - the system had definitely failed the vast majority of the middle classes. Elizabeth Warren spelled out that reality in real data prior to her entering politics;

I suspect she knew that Hillary had no real commitment to address this - and that's why she shied away from endorsing Hillary as a candidate until very late in the piece. Neither did she endorse Sanders, as she knew Hillary's machine wouldn't let him win.
Trump knows she's the real threat in 2020 - it's why he continues to poke slurs at her at each of his public rallies.
The Dems weren’t responsible for Trump – the racists and misogynists – mostiy not economically deprived – who voted for him were. In conjunction with an electoral system that strips votes from ethnic groups that vote for the Dems allowing Trump to win with 3 million less votes than Clinton.
Plus Putin’ s interference and the alt world waging a vicious and dishonest campaign against Clinton.
