You can't make this shit up but John Key can...
Tuesday May 20, 2014Mr Key says that there's no reason to bring up the issue of drone strikes with the President..
"On balance of benefit, are they more often right than they're wrong? I think the answer is 'yes'," he said following a meeting with US President Barack Obama.
Flippity floppity makin' shit up as you go along but hey, its only murder

Hard News: The Letter, in reply to
If the media were actually holding the government to account instead of chasing these non-stories, what would the polls be saying?
I would suspect National would be staring defeat in the face, if nothing else the Herald and some other media outlets are sailing close to the wind when it comes to destroying Democracy. Oh the irony, they were claiming Labour were doing just that with the EFA. This just gets weirder and weirder...

Foss, like all those on the right in this sorry saga, seems to be"making shit up”. Lets face it, we have seen plenty of denial on Nationals part over the last few months so they know how much time and energy it takes to handle the damage done. The difference here is that Labour appear to have done absolutely nothing untoward, apart from not recalling a form letter from 11 years back, whereas National have been embarrassed by facts that they blatantly deny.
I am begining to believe that this is pure mudslinging with little or no foundation but the damage comes from having to deny in an honest manner, rather than the dismissivness that we get from National. Its the same old ” Repeat a lie often enough…..” bulshit l hsve come to expect from these slime mongers. -
“Listen Mr. Liu” Said john as he smiled and shook hands with several people “There seems to be a bit of a stink about your payments to us over that Immigration thingy”
“That is very saded fot me” said Mr. Liu, for engrish was not his first language “are there things I can do for you now big boy?”
“Well” said John as he flicked an errant hundred dollar bill off his shoulder. “What if you said you also gave to Labour?”
“Well king John sir’ I did, there was that cake stall and I buyed a cup cake”
“No, we need something bigger than that” said John, stroking a white cat made of human hair ” Who’s a cute little Dunnekins then” he said as he talked.
“Bigger? said Liu, gesturing embiggenly “Like wedding cake?”
‘No, I’m thinking really big” said John pensively.
“I can see you are Mr prime mincer, you are going all red”
“You know, like the big donations you gave us” said John with his hand out, shaking, alone, wanting…
“Ah, I see” said Liu “I make some shit up eh?”
“That’s the spirit Liu, I see you are getting the hang of the way we do things round here, cheers Mate”
They parted company and went their separate ways, John looked back and saw Liu waving, it reminded him of that golden cat at the bakery, John loved that cat…. -

I don’t know about you Steve, but I’d like to know what seasoning they use in Chinese cookery that induces amnesia in foreign politicians.

It seems that I am not the only one feeling that Nationals Pamphleteering paid for by Parliamentary Services funds, is out of order.
I mentioned this a while back but no-one took any notice…
Josie Pagani points out the Hypocrisy
Perhaps if you lot were to get off the sensationalist anti Labour bandwagon for five minutes we could take a serious look at what National are doing to destroy democracy on the taxpayers money. -
an author publishes a book for profit, and that is the primary motivation of books – profit, not journalism. Nothing wrong with that, I say.
Typical of the right wing mind, money is everything and all else is namby pamby sentimentalism and we have no truck with that when we can make money instead, oh, by the way, did I mention money?.
Money is great, you can buy it and sell it, even swap it for favours if you have to but if you have enough people just give you things anyway because you have money and the best thing is that if you have lots of it you never have to be poor unless you have a tax bill and we don't want one of those do we because that is Socialism. -

$50-60,000 hosting then-labour minister Rick Barker on a cruise on the Yangtze River in China in 2007
Damn it! you could have bought the whole river for that back in '07. Where do these people go to make up those numbers?

Hard News: The Letter, in reply to
oh but it does
Especially if it is done subtly and regularly.
For most of the time National has been in power they have fed the memes, Labour left wing looneys, Crazy, nutty tree hugging Greens. old and dithering NZFirst with Whacko Winston.
Every Question time, they have used the flimsiest excuse to mock and deride rather than have to admit their agenda.
So the people of New Zealand have been subjected to a continuous barrage of negativity from the start, we have been lied to for so long we are becoming immune to truth. -
