I spent the day with Tamati on Tuesday. He’s smart and insightful ie. not just a pretty face. I think he will be a great MP.
Yes ,I think people get off on finding the faults without seeing the good. Labour have individuals. They speak their own minds, unlike NAct ional MUfs. Labour glow in the dark.Yes, they are different to Greens. But they understand the Greens and together they will prevail. Together with any other party ,they can show compassion for the Planet beside compassion for survival of the work force. That's not old and worn out. that's showing that times change. Is that so bad? I think not. I don't want to toss politicians because their ideas are older. There is wisdom with those guys. They are mentors for all that's right and wrong in politics for the young ones coming through.

The way they’re treating the Greens is abominable. Not because they’re being nasty but because they’re behaving like there’s a potential future government that includes Labour and doesn’t include the Greens. Their “We’ll talk about that after the election” reaction to the Greens’ ETS/carbon tax policy, for example, is begging for voters to say “It’s too risky to vote for you, because your government is going to include the Greens and you won’t tell us about how you’ll handle this major policy of a key partner.”
Bullshit. Now you're insulting me. That has no bearing on my vote and I am positive on my friends votes either.
There is more than one Party available that can work with Labour and the Greens are one of them beside NZF, beside InternetMana. So when the time comes, there will be a marriage of some sorts. The Greens are the only ones to expect Labour to do a deal ahead of any others. Why should they get preference? The NZ public should get a say by themselves without any Party telling us how to behave. -

Hagiography, already. A bit early, isn’t it? When will the first reports of miracles appear?
Electioneering? Who is paying for that?

It was like that when I got there”
That's what he says at every Question time,
"Well I can't tell you about that but what I will say is this, Labour did it first in (insert any random number or decade and report or news clipping here)" -

a thinly veiled publicity vehiclefor Key’s new tee shirt range:
“Nothing I could do about it.
Didn’t know about it,
didn’t authorise it,
wasn’t part of it. …”But he knew about
Kate Wilkinson and Phil Heatley would have had no inkling of their fate when they were summoned to the Prime Minister's office, because Mr Key talks to every minister about the work programme in their portfolios for the 12 months ahead.
Of Ms Wilkinson's interview, Mr Key told Roughan: "I said, 'Look, you've done a great job as a minister, but it's over.' She said, 'What have I done wrong?' I said, 'Nothing. You have done four years and I want to refresh.' I said the same thing to Phil."
The book also confirms that several of the dozen National MPs retiring at the coming election are doing so on Mr Key's advice
"
Did he have a smile on his mug as he sacked them? -

Looks like at least one of us is refusing to take this laying down.
There are so many to complain about, but I've started with Armstrong being inaccurate, unbalanced. He's the Chief Political Commentator. I'm actually just really sick of his articles always rubbishing Labour. I'll be waiting for 10 days then onto the Press Council.

And frankly Craig R, whilst I understand you know the ins and outs of accounting and probably what National are capable of, I'll take it you know more than me and I'll take it, you aren't that impressed, but to insinuate that Labour do dodgy deals because the law states that anonymous and hidden donations are acceptable , I'd proffer that we set up a petition to have more clarity. I firmly believe if Labour get in, we could convince them of that, National, not so much. At least Susan Chou wouldn't mind.

Does this PM really not grasp the difference between a politician and a journo?
The Fuknuckle thinks he's everyone to everything. His shit don't stink. We NZers really just don't care. Snapper is more important than democracy . Insurers are more important than Chch residents. He can't understand that Mauis Dolphins don't need more interference in their habitat, one which may have some exploration but any more could prove fatal. He thinks the Greens are Mumbo Jumbo, Otago University studies are not worth acknowledging and the largest group of Mammal Scientists in the world are begging him to take notice. He is now fudging his insinuation propaganda against Labour. He can't tell us any answers to any questions, but he will tell us this....crap crap crap.
