Belated belated happy birthday to the lovely lad, who looks beautiful.
I still recall with delight your wonderful post about Bob's arrival. All PA readers should go and re-read it now - it's a delight.

Che, you could always try heading up the road to Palmerston North. Fabulous. My twins were born there, and the staff made sure I got a double room to myself, with ensuite bathroom, and ran around madly helping me.
I'm convinced it's something to do with physical structures - nice new maternity ward, designed with mothers and families in mind.

Those Yarrows are good peoples. I suppose a large part of their philanthropy is possible because they are still a family owned business, but even so, it's impressive.

My brothers and I spent hours and hours and hours building trolleys out of old bits of wood and the wheels from the collapsed pram, with a bit of looped rope to steer the front wheels. We would push each other around on them, and then when we got braver, career off down the drive.
We got hurt. But no one broke any bones. It was fun.

It's still your birthday here in Adelaide, Russell, so... Happy Birthday.
Drummers... Gary Brain, anyone? Does anyone know who I mean? Or my friend's lad. 16 and amazing and I won't put his name here because it's not mine to put here, but in 5 years time I will come back to this thread and say, "I told you so."

Oh no!
But all the very, very, best for whatever it is you are heading off to do.
Ka kite ano.

Jackie, it's you and me (and Danielle, of course). I... um... sing when I wander through the markets here. A rather nice medieval sounding piece. Quietly - pianissimo - but loud enough for me to hear. I like singing.
People do give me odd looks from time to time, but I tell myself that's because I'm singing the alto line.

Finally, I was waiting all thread for someone to ask, Deborah – and Rob is in this instance correct that I’m not eligible for your team.
But it's a very inclusive team, Sacha...
My bad!

I have never yet sworn at another poster on a blog site - it's just not polite.
I've noted a degree of bullying in your comments to me, to WH, and a few others, I'm not up for that.
But sanctimonious comments like that bring me right to the brink. I am working so hard breathing through my mouth right now.
Sacha, you're a champion. What position do you play in the PAS Women's XV?

Not that we're counting.
