  • Hard News: UMR: Medpot and the public,

Pot is a herb. Like wine and cooking the base plant and then the processing needs to be studied in order to optimise a production of a variety of reliefs. It needs to be qualified by dose and frequency, it's arguable in its infancy as a human pain relief. Doses and plant, will keep Unis busy for decades very soon. A willy wonka study of dope. ..and the hemp side looks attractive from a commercial point of view too.

  • Polity: Eleventy billion dollars!,

Matthew, how do we raise low end wages after 30 years of stagnation? What do you want to do?

After all wonking is the only way forward. Wonking being new ideas for the new century.

  • Polity: Let the big lies flow, in reply to Nat,

In economic terms it’s a correction because our gdp has not fallen the way that was promised. So you get a significant increase of dollars to the guy or girl cleaning your work toilets or any hard low paid job like that. Suddenly they have a $10,000 increase in annual spend, they buy more, they shop more, we use the potential of a full market place to create wealth, but essentially it’s a smart correction on an economic system which has failed on its trickle down promise yet still created the wealth it envisaged. Clever.

It needs to be accompanied with a jobs plan. 6 % is an unpromised result.

It's time to honour the pledges of 84.

Money changes everything, coz they get paid to do these absurd press releases, Money can buy you an electorate like epsom, money can also buy you lesser but more funner things. Money is the token of power.

Advertising your message to hype your concerns, through not political discourse and analysis but brute money strength.

  • Polity: The Taxpayers' Union rides again!, in reply to Ian Dalziel,

Absolutely, they are a media creation. They are a very scary lobby group that is given endless free press by the media because of connections. They are after a crazy economic fix that is not grounded in any kind of political or economic reality.

  • Polity: Let the big lies flow,

The economy promises of the last 30 years have demonstrably not been achieved . They have failed in their target performances and thus any ceo would seek an active programme of new policy. ....but no, coz national dont blink ever baby

  • Polity: Home-spun non-truths,

Working for families, which gave a generation of low income couples the confidence to plan their second or third kid with a fiscal reality of being able to bring a child up in $ terms with some kind of dignity. Apparently that’s “Communism by Stealth” The trickle down never happened and it’s time to correct that.

Money is needed at the bottom. Also a democratic society must be set up for near full employment or problems arise, that is so self evident by now. A 6% unemployment rate is trouble waiting to happen.

  • Polity: Home-spun non-truths,

More money at the bottom third of the economy is the only way forward.

Trickle, the trickle has been delayed but not forgotten. We are supposed to be richer.

The trickle down now needs to be delivered on. There has been a lot of honey made and no trickle, so it's time to collect the trickle down, that was part of the grand bargain of 84 .

Fair Kiwi way, trickle down needs to happen with interest or the grand bargain of 84 has only benefited one side.

  • Polity: Home-spun non-truths,

This policy is brilliant. Put money where its going to be spent to create a bigger market and help out living standards at the poorest level. The economy works best with saturated consumer spend ,
