  • Hard News: The Interesting Party,

Actually Paul, I should have thought to thank you for being our number one audience member. We should just start cc-ing the call sheet to you.

.It really is the best way to watch television.

Now, I was thinking of the perfect PA commission for you yesterday. I'd send you on an architectural and philosophical tour of the former Tourist Hotel Corporation hotels. You would meet interesting people, tell jokes and fit each stop on journey into a cultural and technical framework.

What an excellent idea. I shall find a way to make this part of my PhD.

Whatever tactics the police used in the Te Qaeda case, they were investigating crimes and their investigations have led to charges being made. In the Gilchrist case, the police were receiving information about groups which have not committed any but the most minor offences, such as attempting to plant organic onions at a GE research site.

I'll take Oliver Driver over Paul "This is a dream come true for you, isn't it, Mr. Key?" Henry over on One any day of the week.

That would be Paul "Scandinavian men all look like homosexuals" Henry, wouldn't it?

You can't know that a group you are thinking of spying on is doing illegal stuff until you look into it deeply.

We can only hope that the police plant informers in such groups as those opposed to the Electoral Finance Act and the repeal of Section 59. You never know, they might be doing illegal stuff. The police should also look at the ACT party, many members of which advocate the right to take illegal drugs and tax evasion.

You're a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n' roll, Mr Brown.

    I approve.

"Arse", Mister Brown; we're not Americans.

I read this first as "arise" (Arise, Sir Russell, Baronet of Point Chevalier) and then as a Father Ted reference.

I think I have had too much sun today.

  • Hard News: The Flashing Question Mark,

You would have thought that the artists behind the Creative Freedom Foundation might have designed a better site; or is it some sort of retro early 90s thing?
